6 . Drier Mounting Bracket Installation Install drier mounting bracket onto condenser using (4) 0-24 x 3/8 pan head screws and (4) 0-24 nuts with star washers (See Figure, below). NOTE: Brackets mount through the st and 3rd holes in the condenser. (4) 0-24 Nuts with Star Washers Drier Bracket VUB FRONT VIEW Figure. (4) 0-24 x 3/8 Pan Head Screws Mounting Bracket Installation Install condenser mounting bracket onto condenser using (8) 0-24 x 3/8 pan head screws and (8) 0-24 nuts with star washers (See Figure 2, below). NOTE: Brackets mount through the st and 3rd holes of the condenser. 7 Drier Installation Install drier clamps onto drier as shown below. 2. Using (2) #0 x /2 sheet metal screws, install drier onto bracket in the 4th and 6th holes from the bottom of the bracket as shown in Figure 3, right. O-ring Figure 3a #8 O-ring #0 O-ring Supplied Oil for O-rings NOTE: Standard torque specifications: #6: to 3 ft-lb. #8: 5 to 20 ft-lb. #0: 2 to 27 ft-lb.. Lubricate (2) #6 O-rings (See Figure 3a, above) and install the #6 condenser/drier hardline as shown in Figure 4, right. Tighten fittings as shown in Figure 3a, above. 8 . Drain radiator. 2. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses. 3. Remove radiator. Radiator Removal Core Support Modification. Using template provided on Page, cut out template and place on back side of core support as shown under battery in Figure 5, below. Mark hole locations. 2. Using a /4 hole saw, drill hole in core support (See Figure 5, below). 9 Condenser Assembly Installation. Install condenser on the back side of the core support as shown in Figure 6, below. 2. Using the OEM hardware, secure the condenser assembly between the radiator and the core support (See Figure 7, below). 10 Hardline Installation (Cont.). Install grommet in core support. 2. Lubricate a #6 and #8 O-ring as shown in Figure 3a, Page 7. Install the #6 drier/core hardline and the #8 condenser hardline as shown in Figure 8, below. Tighten fittings as shown in Figure 3a, Page Install (2) Adel clamps as shown in Figure 8, below.
