4 Safety Instructions Before installing and using the WELLNESS bed, carefully read the instruction manual and ensure that all directions and instructions contained are fully understood. It includes important safety information for installation, operation and maintenance! If the WELLNESS bed is used for any purpose other than that for which it was designed and as described in this instruction manual, such use will invalidate the manufacturers warranty and guarantee! The control unit may only be opened by the manufacturer or by an expert approved and authorised by the manufacturer. When unpacked, check the contents of the delivery to ensure that all parts have been included and that nothing has been damaged during transit. In the event of any doubt, please contact our customer service department. Never use the treatment bed with a damaged mains power supply cable. Do not jam or kink the cable and do not allow it to rest on any hot object (e.g. radiator, lamp, etc)! If the mains cable is damaged in any way, immediately disconnect the treatment bed from the mains power supply. Please consult our customer service department before using again. Before connecting to the mains power supply ensure that the voltage (V) shown on the type plate corresponds with the power supply available! Under no circumstances may the mains plug be disconnected from the socket with wet hands. Never attempt to remove the plug from the socket by pulling the connecting cable! Do not use in damp surroundings and do not splash with liquid! In the event of any liquid or foreign body entering the inner of the control unit, immediately disconnect the WELLNESS bed from the mains power supply! Please consult our customer service department before using again. Always isolate from the mains power supply by disconnecting the mains plug before cleaning! 4 by IONTO-COMED
5 Fields of Use The IONTO-WELLNESS BED BALANCE was developed specifically for relaxation, massage and for use in combination with other cosmetic treatments. The integrated BALANCE Module with it s gently effect of vibrations provides a unique wellness experience. Pleasant music intensifies this experience. Due to the vibrations and music, harmonised respiration, lowered pulse rate as well as improved circulation is obtained. Furthermore, muscular and emotional tension is reduced and the energy flows in the entire body are activated. Four various luxury programs with different vibration frequencies, which are specifically adapted to the individual needs of your customers and suitable music, are saved to a SD card. Using a BALANCE manual control, luxury programs and music can be started. The music can be also played through an external MP3 or CD player. Two loudspeakers are integrated into the headrest of the WELLNESS bed for listening to the music. Alternatively, headphones can be connected. For feeling the vibrations, the IONTO-WELLNESS BED BALANCE is equipped with sound transformers which are positioned in the head, back, buttock, thigh and lower leg areas. The parameters for the music as well as the vibration intensity are set via a BALANCE manual control. The position of the IONTO-WELLNESS BED BALANCE is continuously adjustable via an additional remote control for bed settings. Using the electrical adjustment of the height, the backrest and the seat, the bed can be easily moved into any required position, from the comfortable entry position for the customer to the ideal treatment position for the cosmetician. The backrest is divided, has a headrest which can be folded down and armrests which can be moved aside. The bed is absolutely stable for massage. The IONTO-WELLNESS BED BALANCE is used in the fields of wellness and cosmetics. Contraindications Generally only treat healthy persons. Do not use the IONTO-WELLNESS BED BALANCE for the following indications: Heart diseases Heart pacemaker In case of doubt please consult a doctor. by IONTO-COMED 5

Clean the padding of the WELLNESS bed with warm water and a moist cloth. We recommend the use of a micro-fibre cloth (art. no ) or the cleaning mitt (art. no ). Rub the padding dry with a cloth. Remove larger areas of soiling with a mild cleaning agent. Remove stubborn stains with Incidin Foam (art. no. 4660). Observe the instructions for use of this special cleaner. Stains should be removed immediately to avoid them penetrating the material. Clean the frame of the WELLNESS bed, the BALANCE manual control and remote control for bed settings with a lightly moistened cloth. Ensure that no water enters the control unit or manual and remote control. Wash the towelling covers at 60 C. Repairs and Servicing Your WELLNESS bed does not require any special servicing when used correctly and in compliance with the manufacturer s directions and instructions. However, in the event of any problem arising, please contact our customer service department. Only persons authorised by the manufacturer may perform repairs.
