31 SITE INSPECTION / UNLOADING THE TRUCK Site Inspection and Preparation 1. Locate the construction site Project Manager and introduce yourself. Inform him that you will be conducting a site inspection and invite him to participate. Assure him that you will inform him of any problems you find during the site inspection. 2. Inspect the site paying close attention to the bay, back room, and general property to ensure that all areas are ready for the installation to begin. Make sure the water service is installed and in the proper location. Note: Only BayWash supplied equipment will be found on the documents provided by Oasis. If you are using another manufacturer s equipment, check the placement on those drawings. 3. Identify a large, open area with easy bay access where the equipment can be staged once it arrives. 4. Identify the entrance and exit door of the bay. Then, inspect the easier and more convenient door to enter the BayWash i5. Note: Look for any obstacles on the floor and walls that prevent an easy access for the forklift and dollies (including pit grates and curbs). Trucks Arrive and Unloading Begins 1. Locate all appropriate tools for unloading the trailer including but not limited to; forklift (5000 lbs. or greater), i5 dollies, pry bar, Johnson bar, 3 ft. chain, c-clamps, tin snips. 2. Determine the appropriate piece of moving equipment (i.e. Johnson bar & dolly or forklift 5000 lbs. or greater) to assist in unloading equipment from the truck. Bring selected equipment to the truck and begin the unloading process. Note: The following steps utilize a forklift with BayWash i5 dollies. 3. Remove all straps holding the BayWash i5 to the trailer. 4. Bring the forklift (5000 Lbs. or greater) to the BayWash i5 upper assembly ( ). 34 3) Install Chemical Feed System 1. Check the site-specific drawings (Appendix-B, Sheet 06) provided to determine the placement of the G57 pump stations. Note: Pump station must not be installed any lower than 48 from the floor. 2. Once the location has been determined, place the units on the wall. 3. Have one person hold the unit up on the wall in the location to be mounted. Then mark the holes using a sharpie marker. Note: This will have to be repeated for each pump station. 4. After all the holes have been marked, use a hammer drill to drill all the holes. 5. Next, using a hammer, place the anchors into the holes drilled in step four. 6. Place the pump stations onto the bolts and secure to the wall. Note: Wall mounting hardware not included. 4) Install Main Water Solenoid 1. Locate the bay inlet city water supply line. (2) Check the site-specific drawings (Appendix-B, Sheet 08) provided and install the 1 inch Solenoid Valve 24 VAC ( ) provided by Oasis. (3) Note: The 1 inch Solenoid Valve 24 VAC ( ) is used to feed the 1 red hose in the energy chain which supplies city water to the i5 BayWash. 2. Wire the Din Connector and the M12 Male Straight 5m cable supplied, as follow: Blue wire to Din Connector, terminal 2 Black wire to Din Connector, terminal 1 White and Brown wires are not used 3. Now, proceed to connect the M12 Male Straight 5m cable to the 4 point output block, position 2 installed on the wall near the off board panel OASIS BayWash i5 Page 34 of 92 OASIS i5 (v4).docx

35 5) Install Tracks 1. Inspect the entire bay for obstructions either on the wall or floor. If found any, clear the path in order to proceed with the machine and energy chain installation. Note: Ask about in-ground floor heat before drilling. 2. Check the site-specific drawings (Appendix-B, Sheet 02) provided to determine the location of the tracks. 3. Find the door centerline using the supplied site-specific drawings. 4. Place (2) concrete screws on the door centerline a) (1) located at the entrance doorway b) (1) located at the exit doorway 4. Using neon nylon string, tie one end onto the entrance door concrete screw. Pull the line toward the exit, wrap it around the concrete screw then pull tight and tie off. 5. Using a laser level or transit, survey the floor elevation for any irregularities. Note: Start the track installation at the highest part of the floor. 6. Bring one set of rails into the building and lay them on the floor in their approximate location. Note: Some rails come with the bolt holes in one end. So, be sure that bolt holes are on the outside of the rails facing the exit and entrance doors OASIS BayWash i5 Page 35 of 92 OASIS i5 (v4).docx

36 7. The first pair of tracks is to be placed at 63 from the bay centerline to the centerline of the track rails. Using a tape measure set one side first (2 rails). Then place the other side of the track by measuring 126 from the centerline of the already installed tracks to the centerline of the other pair of the tracks (not installed yet). Note: The distance between the centerlines of each side of the tracks (PS and DS) should be 63 apart making a total of 126 from the centerline of one set of rails to the other ones. 8. Drill holes for the anchor bolts using a hammer drill and 5/8 bit. After the holes have been drilled, mount and level each track using a laser level or transit and the supplied shims. 9.
