1 C 6 ROUND HOLE STAINLESS STEEL GRILLE KIT GEN 2.2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Thank you for the purchase of our new C6 GRILLE KIT product. When installed correctly this product will keep your radiator and condenser protected for the life of your car. The Best part is that it looks great! The new Gen 2 SS C6 Grille kit is designed to be installed behind the original plastic. Please follow the installation and care instructions exactly to insure you get the maximum usage and benefits from the C6 GRILL KIT Product. TOOLS AND ADDITIONAL ITEMS REQUIRED 1) Drill and drill bit 2) Socket set and wrenches 3) Screwdriver (flat head) 4) Metal cutters INSTALLATION TIME 2 hour Before you begin, insure that you have the right kit for your car. There are several New GM clips that need to be removed. Using a flat head screwdriver, gently raise the head of the clip. Once the head of the clip is raised (releasing the lock), remove the clip. (See diagram below) Clip Head in released position STEP # 1: Preparation (NECESSARY) The plastic GM grille can be removed using these steps. If you require additional working space, the proceed to the optional removal section. Raise the front of the car and securely support it with jack stands. Remove the left and right lower brake duct panel (# 27 Fig 2 in diagram) This will give you access to the inner attaching hardware. Remove the 4 clips (#6 in Fig 3 diagram)

2 Fig #2 Remove the 3 bolts on the bottom of the front fascia (#9 in Fig 3 diagram) Remove the 5 horizontal bolts holding the plastic GM grille to the bumper (#4 in Fig 3 diagram) Remove the 5 vertical bolts holding the plastic GM grille to the bumper (#3 in Fig 3 diagram)

3 Fig #3 OPTIONAL REMOVAL (NOTE THIS WILL ASSIST YOU IN GAINING ACCESS TO ALL INTERNAL PARTS) Remove the two front wheels in order to give you access to the inside fender. Remove the left and right front inner fender panel (#25 in fig 2 diagram) Remove the left light lamp.

4 Once you have removed the necessary attaching hardware, remove the front grille from the car through the driver s side brake duct space. Caution : Use care not to disrupt the wiring in the brake duct area Note front bumper does not need to be removed! Remove lower brake duct panel to gain access to the inner plastic grille mounting hardware. Remove the front L+R inner panel if you require additional working space (optional) Once the bolts and clips are removed, gently slide the GM grille out through the drivers side panel or lower brake duct panel opening opening. Step # 2 : Mounting the SS Grille to the Original GM Plastic Grille With the front grille removed, drill 3 holes using a drill bit the same size as the supplied screws. (On the top and end section of the vertical fins) Insure that the 3 screws can move freely once inside the drilled hole.

5 Insert the metal C6 grille on the inside of the plastic grill, insuring that it is centered. Insure that the tabs are level with the plastic bumper tabs on the GM plastic grille. Secure the C6 SS Grille with the 3 screws provided. Do not over tighten! To insure correct angle fit, move the middle up and the sides down if necessary until grille is in correct position. Step # 3 Reinstalling the Grille Insert the grille back into the car, the same way you removed it. Position the plastic grille and attached SS Grille on the car via the drivers side lower brake duct panel opening. From underneath the car (picture) install the 5 replacement screws through the SS Grille ( Do not over tighten!)

6 Re assemble the lower brake duct panels and inner fender panels. FINISHED CARE OF THE C6 ROUND HOLE STAINLESS STEEL GRILLE KIT PRODUCT The product is designed to last the entire life of your car under normal conditions. The product will resist heat, cold, rain, wind, and impacts. Although this product is durable, it will not survive a major curb impact or a front end collision. Your C6 GRILLE KIT is high quality stainless steel and can be cleaned normal car wash soap. You may also a stainless steel polish and a buffer to increase the shine factor.
