RapidRoll 660A The Albany 660A continues to be the leader in performance doors for the Australasian market. European designed and engineered, this door has been proven over time to be robust and durable. One of the features that gives this door true durability is its RollTex fabric blade construction. RollTex offers very high tensile strength in the most rugged environments. The other renown feature of the 660A is its speed and smooth operation via the next generation MCC control system. The 660A is without a doubt the performer of performance doors. APPLICATION As a room and environment divider to save energy or as an exterior door for demanding outdoor conditions. SIDE FRAMES Anodised aluminium side frames on both sides of the curtain guide its upward and downward motion. The simple hinge principle assures quick and easy opening for service. A cover made of anodised aluminium on the front side protects the top roll. DOOR BLADE The door blade is made of extremely rigid, tear-resistant RollTex fabric. Tensile strength: 185 kn/m. The coated fabric seals against moisture and drafts. colours are blue, orange and grey. KNOCK-OUT CAPABILITY Self repairing knock-out capability - SRD. The door can be fitted with an optional knock-out capability for sizes up to 5.5 x 5.5 m (max. 22 m2 door area). SAFETY The door is equipped with an electric self testing safety edge or an optional patented pre-running photocell, reversing the door before contact. The door is also supplied with an integrated door line photocell. VISION PANELS Vertical or horizontal 500 x 700 WIND BARS For higher wind class applications the 660A can be fitted with internal or external wind bars providing increased wind loading capabilities.
DRIVE UNIT 3-phase asynchronous motor with worm gear and connector is mounted directly to the top roll. Drive position left or right hand side. COUNTERBALANCE, CURTAIN TENSION SYSTEM The counterbalance system is achieved by means of tension springs. Additionally, the combined curtain tension system assures a firm and taut curtain regardless of high wind loads. TOP ROLL SEALING FELT ANTI-STATIC The 660A Anti-Static Top Roll Sealing Felt ensures a direct seal with the blades top roll for increased environmental control, pest prevention and static reduction. SIZE OPTIONS 660A 660A size option ranges from DW Min/Max 2000mm - 6500mm and DH Min/Max 2000mm - 6500mm. However combination of height and width cannot exceed 32 sqm.

Application Food & Beverage, Processing and Wash-down Area The rapid roll 660A is used extensively in the food manufacturing sector. The door design offers protection against corrosion in wash down areas as well as smooth surface areas for ease of cleaning. This door includes substantial safety features and is a reliable performer in high traffic areas which are common place in food processing facilities. Application Logistics and Warehouses, ideal for large openings with high traffic movement. The RapidRoll 660A is ideal for exterior openings to warehouses where the operating cycles on larger doors are demanding. The spring balance system of the Albany 660A allows larger door sizes to operate without the load stresses of other door designs. This system also allows the door to be manually opened using a simple hand release. This hand release is positioned at an easily accessible location on the doors side frame.
