Driver Log Out (Clear Driver ID) << DOT Drivers Only >> 1. Press Clear Driver ID menu option 2. Select Yes or No when prompted for a Post- Trip Inspection On-Road / Off-Road Status 1. Press Off Road menu option 3. Select Yes or No to confirm your previous selection 2. Select the most appropriate Duty State, use the more key to view all options (see image 12) 3. Press the corresponding menu option to select one of the options listed above Check Driver/Occupant Hours 1. << DOT Drivers Only >> Work Alone Timer View HOS Logs 1. Press HOS Log menu option 1. Press Work Alone menu option 2. Enter the Time (in minutes) you plan on working away from the vehicle 2. Use the Previous Day and Next Day buttons to scroll through all days in the log 3. Use the Page Up and Page Down buttons to scroll through all of the log data, such as: HOS Ruleset Sleeper Berth Time Driving Time Off Duty Time Total Truck Distance Truck #: Miles Driven Occupants Remarks Image 9: HOS Log menu option highlighted Image 5: Work Alone menu option highlighted 3. Press Start. The display will return to the home screen, however the timer is running in the background Before the time expires you have 3 options: Check In: Use this option if you need additional time away from the vehicle Stop: Use this option if you have finished your work away from the vehicle Drive: If the vehicle moves prior to the timer expiring, the Work Alone Timer will be cancelled When the Timer Expires: Image 10: HOS Log Navigation Image 6: Work Alone Screen If you do not return to the vehicle before the time expires, a Man Down notification will be sent to your System Administrator immediately A panic alarm will also sound inside the cab of the vehicle indicating the man down You can stop the alarm at any time and indicate you are OK by pressing the Stop button at any time 8 5
Text Messages Press Messages menu option To View a Message: Use the Up & Down arrows on the keypad to select a message and then press View Message To Send a Message: 1. Press and Hold the Panic Button for at least 3 seconds An audible alarm will sound (Panic alarm) and your System Administrator is notified immediately of your emergency situation. Warning! Only press the Panic Button in the event of an emergency. Your System Administrator is notified immediately upon activating the alarm. 2. Use the keypad to type your message 3. Press Send Message menu option To Send a Pre-Defined Message: 1. Press New Text Message menu option 2. Press Pre-Defined Messages menu option 3. Press Send Message menu option How it works: Once activated, the Panic alarm will sound inside the vehicle until the notification has been sent to, and received by the portal.
