Top Box Auxiliary Power Socket Tiger Explorer and Tiger Explorer XC only Note: Power is only supplied to the top box auxiliary power socket when the ignition is turned to the ON position. Fuse number 5 (0 A) protects the auxiliary power socket on the motorcycle, heated grips and the auxiliary power socket in the top box when fitted. Explorer XR, Explorer XRx, Explorer XRT, Explorer XC, Explorer XCx and Explorer XCA, Tiger 00 XR, Tiger 00 XRX, Tiger 00 XRX LRH, Tiger 00 XCX, Tiger 00 XRT, Tiger 00 XCA Note: Power is only supplied to the auxiliary power socket when the engine is running. The top box auxiliary power socket is protected by a chassis ECM, which will automatically cut power to the socket in the event of an overload. Power can be restored to the top box auxiliary power socket by turning the ignition switch off then on again, provided that the socket is not still overloaded. In the event of a more serious overload, fuse number PS4 (5 A) protects the top box auxiliary power socket, rear auxiliary power socket, heated grips and heated seats when fitted. The maximum safe load for the top box, when fitted is 0 kg ( lbs). Never exceed this loading limit as this may cause the motorcycle to become unstable, leading to loss of control and an accident. Always ensure that any load carried in the top box is correctly secured such that it will not move around while the motorcycle is in motion. Never exceed the maximum vehicle loading weight which is described in the owner's handbook. Incorrect loading may result in an unsafe riding condition, which could lead to loss of motorcycle control and an accident. To maintain the handling characteristics of the motorcycle when riding with luggage or with a passenger and luggage, refer to the owner's handbook for the correct suspension settings. Incorrect suspension settings could significantly change the handling characteristics of the motorcycle, leading to loss of motorcycle control and an accident. After fitting the accessory kit the motorcycle will exhibit new handling characteristics. Operate the motorcycle in a safe area free from traffic to gain familiarity with any new handling characteristics. Operation of the motorcycle when not familiar with any new handling characteristics may result in loss of motorcycle control and an accident. of

Never ride an accessory-equipped motorcycle at speeds above 80 mph (0 km/h). The presence of accessories will cause changes in the stability and handling of the motorcycle. Failure to allow for changes in motorcycle stability may lead to loss of control or an accident. Remember that the 80 mph (0 km/h) limit will be reduced by the fitting of non-approved accessories, incorrect loading, worn tires, overall motorcycle condition and poor road or weather conditions. Only operate this Triumph motorcycle at high speed in closed-course, on-road competition or on closedcourse racetracks. High-speed operation should only be attempted by riders who have been instructed in the techniques necessary for high speed riding and are familiar with the motorcycle s characteristics in all conditions. High-speed operation in any other circumstances is dangerous and will lead to loss of motorcycle control and an accident. The motorcycle must not be operated above the legal road speed limit except in closed-course conditions. of
