General Information The club is a not-for-profit Kansas corporation, dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of all Chevelles and El Caminos. Ownership of a Chevelle or associated vehicle is not required. Club newsletters which include minutes of meetings, upcoming events, and technical articles are also found on club s website and are forwarded to members. Business meetings are convened on the last Thursday of each month, with the possible exceptions of November and December, for the purpose of discussing and planning future club events. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., at Hendrick Chevrolet, 8300 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Merriam, Kansas unless otherwise noted in the newsletter or on the club s website. Members may advertise vehicles/parts for sale, trade, or wanted in the newsletter for no charge. August 2016 Meeting Minutes MACC August 25 th Meeting Minutes Prepared by Mike Stites MACC September 2016 Newsletter MID-AMERICA CHEVELLE CLUB HENDRICK CHEVROLET, MERRIAM, KS August 25, 2016 MINUTES Meeting called to order at 7:00 by club president Roger Verstraete Self-introduction of members in attendance John Freeman with Midwest Mechanical (new club sponsor) visiting Roger noted Jody Terrell had forwarded a thank you note for the flowers provided by the MACC for his Dad s funeral Roger reviewed several items related to the regional car show Eugene reviewed the Treasurer s Report. Steve Calder reported on car August club events and future events Christmas Party is schedule for December 3 at the Hollywood Casino Meeting adjourned at 7:55. Calendar of Upcoming Events MACC September 2016 Newsletter MID AMERICA CHEVELLE CLUB FUNCTIONS 2016 October 14,15,16---Fall Color Tour, Lake of the Ozarks - Fall Color Tour Lebanon and Osage Beach, MO more info will be coming. Here is what we currently know about the trip. Friday the 14th we are staying in Lebanon, MO at the Munger/Moss Motel 417-532-3111. Saturday the 15th we will be in Osage Beach, MO. There are several motels in the area close to the Quail's Nest Inn 573-348-2834 October 22 and 23rd---Super Chevy Show Heartland Park Topeka, KS More information to follow. October ---To be discussed at the meeting on September 29, 2016. December 3--- MACC Christmas Party at Hollywood Casino near the Kansas Speedway--Evite to be sent Other cruise night dates will be added 3
