Speed sensor tester - User manual Test sequence ALL Prerequisite before testing 1) Initial condition of T4, TD and TR speed sensor: The signal PNP must be switched off before starting of test when the speed sensor is out of the tester box. 2) Position the fixing lug of TD and TR speed sensor at the bottom and perpendicular to the tester box during the test as indicated on the illustration below. ALL 4 Speed sensor tester - User manual Test sequence Test 1: For all speed sensors and position sensor Step 1.1 Description Place the speed sensor in a vertical position above the tester and far away from the target. The target is identified by the sign and the text Magnet at the bottom left of tester box. 1.2 Move slowly the speed sensor above the target. 1.3 Continue to move slowly away from the target. For the position sensor: orient it like the picture, then do the previous steps 1.1 to 1.3. During the test, it is necessary to check also the LED status on the sensor. Reinstall the rear cover, then install and tighten the four screws. Turn over the tester box. The red LED is turned off now. After testing disconnect sensor to avoid to empty batteries.
