54 DT 0101/14 Open in ircuit DSRIPTION The driver side squib circuit consists of the center airbag sensor assembly, the spiral cable and the steering pad. The circuit instructs the S to deploy when deployment conditions are met. DT 0101/14 is recorded when an open circuit is detected in the driver side squib circuit. DT No. DT Detecting ondition Trouble rea 0101/14 Open circuit in wire harness or wire harness of driver side squib Driver side squib malfunction Spiral cable malfunction enter airbag sensor assembly malfunction Steering pad (Driver side squib) Spiral cable enter airbag sensor assembly Instrument panel wire WIRI DIGRM See page -46. INSPTION PRODUR Perform the simulation method by selecting the "check mode" (signal check) with the intelligent tester (See page -38). fter selecting the "check mode" (signal check), perform the simulation method by wiggling each connector of the airbag system or driving the vehicle on a city or rough road (See page -38).
