1 152 SUPPLEMENTL RESTRINT SYSTEM IRBG SYSTEM T B1140/32 ircuit Malfunction IPTION The side airbag sensor assembly RH circuit consists of the safing sensor, the diagnostic circuit and the lateral deceleration sensor, etc. If the center airbag sensor assembly receives signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, it judges whether or not the S should be activated. T B1140/32 is recorded when a malfunction in the side airbag sensor assembly RH circuit is detected. T No. T etecting ondition Trouble rea B1140/32 The center airbag sensor assembly receives a line short circuit signal, an open circuit signal, a short circuit to signal or a short circuit to B+ signal in the side airbag sensor assembly RH circuit for 2 seconds. Using a service wire, connect -17 () and - 15 () of connector "B". NOTIE: o not forcibly insert a service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the Resistance onnector onnector B Tester connection ondition Specified condition -4 () - -1 () Below 1 Ω Service Wire E08 onnector B enter irbag onnector B (d) Using a service wire, connect -16 () and - 13 () of connector "B". NOTIE: o not forcibly insert a service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting. (e) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the Resistance Tester connection ondition Specified condition -3 () - -2 () Below 1 Ω REPIR OR REPLE FLOOR WIRE Service Wire E08

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the Voltage Tester connection ondition Specified condition -4 () - Body -1 () - Body -3 () - Body -2 () - Body REPIR OR REPLE FLOOR WIRE E15 5 HEK FLOOR WIRE (SHORT TO GROUN) B onnector enter irbag Turn the ignition switch to the L position. isconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
