Iso Butanol (IB) Iso butanol is a clear, mobile, neutral liquid with a characteristic odor. It is miscible with all common solvents, e.g., alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, ethers, glycols, and aromatic and aliphatic hydro carbons, but is only sparingly soluble in water. Bitumen The bitumen is provided during the process of oxidation of vacuum bottom in bitumen production units. 40/50 due to its medium air blowing and penetration, is used in tropical areas. 60/70 due to its medium air blowing and penetration, is used in mild areas. 85/100 due to its relatively low air blowing and penetration, is used in cold areas.

OXIDIZED BITUMEN Oxidized bitumen is produced by either continuous or Staggered Blowing Process. Heated Penetration Grade bitumen under controlled environment is blown with air which controls the oil content in the bitumen while it oxidized. The different grades for suited applications produced are designated by two numbers to indicate the mid-points of their softening point and penetration ranges. Synthetic Rubbers Styrene-Butadiene Rubber Styrene-Butadiene Rubber 1502 is produced by a technology of cold emulsion copolymerization based on soaps of rosin and fatty acids and contains 23.5% of chemically bonded styrene. It is coagulated by a system of acid and synthetic coagulant and stabilized by a non-staining antioxidant. Polybutadiene Rubber BR-1220 is a stereo specific high Cis-1,4 polybutadiene. It is manufactured by a solution process using a cobalt catalyst which produces polymers with a low level of impurities. BR-1220 contains a non-staining high quality stabilizer system, too.
