IMPORTANT - INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS WARNING READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLING OR USING THIS EQUIPMENT AGE LIMIT This product is designed to be used by up to six (6) chidren between the ages of 3 to 8. Maximum user weight is 100 pounds (45 kg) each with a combined maximum weight of 600 pounds (272kg). The pay set is designed for chidren over three (3) years of age up to (8) years of age. Use by smaer chidren can resut in entrapment or serious injury. On-site adut supervision is required at a times for chidren of a ages. Do not aow use by chidren with any physica condition that may affect his/her abiity to use this equipment safey. Do not aow chidren to use the equipment in a manner other than intended. BEFORE YOU BEGIN Carefuy read a instructions in this manua before assembing and using this product. The unit must be assembed by aduts. Heavy duty working goves must be worn to avoid injuries during assemby. Chidren must not use the equipment unti it is propery assembed and anchored. Adut supervision is required during the use of this equipment at a times. Unpack a parts. Take a compete inventory of a parts and hardware using the parts and hardware ists in the foowing pages. LOCATION OF PLAY SET The equipment must be paced more than six (6) feet (1.8 meters) from any structures or obstructions, incuding but not imited to buidings, fence, garage, trees, aundry ines, eectrica wires. Chidren can be seriousy injured running or swinging into obstaces. The pay set must be instaed on eve ground. Uneven ground must be eveed prior to instaation. Instaation on soping or uneven ground wi put stress on the joints, causing the unit to become oose and unstabe which may resut in serious injuries. Remove any tripping hazards from the safe pay area, such as roots, tree stumps, rocks, andscaping, sprinker heads, rairoad ties, pumbing and eectrica connections. It is highy recommended that you seek the opinion from a oca icensed contractor on the best way to secure the swing set in your ocation. Windy conditions: it is possibe for the product to be bown about by a high wind. if you anticipate high winds, the frame shoud be secured to the ground with the use of an Anchor kit. If you anticipate severe winds, the product shoud be moved to a shetered ocation or competey disassembed. Do not insta your pay set over hard surface, e.g. asphat, concrete, packed earth, tie or brick foor. A fa onto a hard surface can resut in serious injury or death to the user. The foowing is a ist of recommended ground covers from the Consumer Product Safety Commission: SUGGESTED MATERIAL UNCOMPRESSED DEPTH Doube Shredded Bark Much 9 Uniform Wood Chips 12 Fine Grave 12 Fine Sand 12 The Consumer Product Safety Commission s Outdoor Home Payground Safety Handbook recommends to insta and maintain the payground equipment over at east 9 inches of wood chips, much or shredded rubber (for equipment up to 8 feet high) or sand or pea grave (for equipment no more than 5 feet high) as shock absorbing materia. Dirt and grass, which are the most prevaent surfaces under home payground equipment, do not adequatey protect chidren from serious head injuries. Insta protective surfacing at east six feet in a directions from pay equipment. For swings, the surface shoud extend, in back and front, twice the height of the suspending bar. You shoud consut a oca contractor about ways to secure the product in your ocation. Do not insta your pay set over hard surface, e.g. asphat, concrete, packed earth, tie or brick foor. SELECT PROTECTIVE SURFACING: One of the most important things you can do to reduce the ikeihood of serious head injury s is to insta shock-absorbing protective surfacing under and around your pay equipment. The Protective surfacing shoud be appied to a depth that is suitabe for the equipment height in accordance with ASTM F1292. NOTE: DO NOT insta home payground equipment over concrete, asphat, or any other hard surface. A Fa onto a hard surface can resut in serious injury to the equipment user. Grass and dirt are not considered protective surfacing because wear and environmenta factors can reduce their shock absorbing effectiveness. Carpeting and thin mats are generay not adequate protective surfacing. Ground Leve equipment such as Sand-Box, activity wa, payhouse or other equipment that has no eevated pay surface does not need any protective surfacing. WARNINGS ON ANCHORING It is highy recommended the product be anchored into the ground to prevent movement and to make the swing set more stabe during use. Some consumers want an anchoring system that aows the product to be moved to different ocations. Other consumers want to keep their swing set in a permanent ocation. It is highy recommended that you seek the opinion from a oca icensed contractor on the best way to secure the swing set in your ocation. The best way to anchor a product is to create a concrete footing and use that as a base for an anchor. Whatever method you prefer for your ocation, an anchoring system for this product shoud be used at a times. 2

WEATHER CONDITIONS DO NOT use this equipment if the swing seat, side or any parts are wet. Use the pay set ony when the parts are cean and dry. If the equipment is wet, the user coud sip and suffer injuries. Pease be aware of weather conditions when using the equipment. If it is too windy, users coud ose contro and suffer injuries. The payground equipment must be propery anchored, stored away or restricted from use during incement weather such as heavy winds or severe weather storms. You shoud consut a oca contractor about ways to anchor the product in your ocation. WARNING STATEMENTS Observing the foowing statements and warnings reduces the ikeihood of serious or fata injury. DO NOT aow more than one chid to pay on the individua swing or side component at any one time. DO NOT aow chidren to stand on the side, swing seats or gide ride. The gide ride is made for ony two users at a time. DO NOT aow chidren to wak too cose to moving parts. ALWAYS keep a safe distance to avoid being struck by other chidren whie paying on swings, sides, trapeze, and gide ride etc. DO NOT aow chidren to hang upside down on trapeze bar! DO NOT aow chidren to twist the swing chains or oop them over the top support bar as this may reduce the strength of the chain. DO NOT swing empty seats as this may cause injuries. Chidren shoud not wak cose to, in front of, behind, or between moving items. DO NOT CLIMB on the Equipment when the Equipment is wet. DO NOT attached items to the equipment that are not specificay designed for use with the equipment, such as, but not imited to, Jump Ropes, Cothesine, pet eashes, cabes, and chain as they may cause a stranguation hazard. Dress Chidren with we-fitting and fu foot encosing footwear. Exampes of in-appropriate footwear are: CLOGS, fip fops, and sandas. ALWAYS guide chidren to sit in the center of swinging parts, with their fu weight paced in the seat center and hoding on to the swing chains. DO NOT aow chidren to jump off the equipment whie it is in motion. ALWAYS come to a fu stop before dismounting. ALWAYS dress chidren appropriatey for proper pay, e.g. wear we-fitted rubber soe shoes, and remove oose or sharp items such as jewery, hair accessories, scarves which may become entanged in the equipment or cause injuries. ALWAYS make sure chidren remove their bike or other sports hemets before paying on the payground. DO NOT aow chidren to side down the side head first. DO NOT aow chidren to cimb onto swing or jump to/from different pay areas of the equipment. ALWAYS return safey to the ground before approaching another pay area. DO NOT aow chidren to cimb on structura parts (e.g. egs, top bar). These are structura components and are not designed for pay. ALWAYS check the side or other parts exposed to the body for extreme heat from the sun before aowing chidren to use the equipment. ALWAYS prevent access and secure from any unauthorized use when there is no adut supervision. DO NOT aow pets or other animas near the equipment to prevent damage or injuries. Adequate overhead cearance is essentia. A minimum of 24 ft (7.3 meters) from ground eve is recommended. Provide cearance for wires, tree imbs, and other possibe hazards. Use the swing set in a we-it area. Artificia iumination may be required for shady areas. 3

INSPECTION PRIOR TO EACH USE OR DAILY INSPECTION DO NOT use the equipment if any bots or nuts are missing or oose. ALWAYS check to ensure the equipment and a parts are we secured and stabe before each use. ALWAYS cear the pay area of any rocks, sharp objects, or any materias that coud be potentiay hazardous to users. DO NOT attach items to the equipment that are not specificay designed for use with the equipment, incuding, but not imited to, jump ropes, cothesine, pet eashes, cabes and chains as they may cause choke hazards. The stee and pastic parts used in your product are subject to norma wear. Gradua deterioration of the materia wi occur, the speed of which wi depend on the eve of exposure to UV rays, airborne poution, outdoor weather conditions such as rain and wind and the amount of use. You must inspect the equipment prior to every use. This incudes, but is not imited to inspecting the set for cracks, excess wear, missing parts, oose connections, and for overa integrity. When the set shows any signs of weakness, you must stop using the pay set immediatey, propery store the set or restrict access by users unti the condition is resoved. Verify that the chains are secured at both ends and tightened, so that there is no oose chain hanging that can resut in choking hazard. When conducting inspections, it is recommended that you use the Suggested Genera Maintenance Checkist and Routine Inspection and Maintenance Issues checkists provided by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, a copy of which is contained in this user manua. CARE & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Inspect a nuts and bots twice monthy during the usage season for tightness and tighten as required. It is particuary important that this procedure is foowed at the beginning of each season. Oi a metaic moving parts monthy during the usage period. Sand rusted areas on meta tubing and repaint using a nonead-based paint meeting the requirements of Tite 16 CFR Part 1303. Check swing seats and chains monthy during usage season for deterioration. Repacements shoud be made in accordance with the manufacturer s instructions. Check a coverings for bots and sharp edges twice monthy during usage season to be certain that they are in pace and repace when necessary. It is especiay important to do this at the beginning of each new season. Do not use when the temperature drops beow 32 degrees F (0 degrees C); remove and store the pastic swing seats and side indoors. 4

ANCHORING (NOTE:ANCHORS ARE NOT INCLUDED-MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY) There are different ways of anchoring the equipment, depending on the type of ground on which the equipment is to be instaed. Make sure that a anchors are beow ground eve to prevent tripping. You shoud consut your oca contractor to decide the most appropriate way to anchor the equipment in your ocation. The foowing anchoring options may be considered: Corkscrew Anchoring (Corkscrew Anchors not incuded) If your soi is hard (cay, etc.), the corkscrew method may be suitabe. Be sure that the swing set is ocated on eve ground. Twist the corkscrew anchor into the ground unti ony the end with the hook is above the ground and next to the eg. Insert the hook into the bottom opening of the eg. Ensure that the hook is secured onto the eg opening. Concrete Anchoring (Materias not incuded) If the swing set is set up on grounds with sandy soi (soft) condition, it must be anchored with concrete footing (concrete not incuded) Be sure that the swing set is assembed and paced on eve ground Dig hoes around swing eg tube, as shown in drawing in the next page. As you dig deeper, enarge the diameter of the hoe to fix the cement Pace 2 inches of brick or grave underneath the eg, as shown in drawing in the next page Use about 45 bs. of concrete per eg Cover the concrete with dirt and protective surface materia Aow 6-7 days for the concrete to dry propery 5

FRAME LEG 12-5/8 CONCRETE 5 2 BRICK OR GRAVEL BED Note: The maximum fa height for this product is 4 feet. The minimum ground cearance between the bottom of the suspended pays and the paying or ground surface must be 8 inches. You must maintain a minimum of 8 inches of ground cearance. 8 WARNING Pease propery anchor the swing set to minimize the risk of injury or death. If the swing set is used without proper anchoring, it may be dangerous and may tit over. 6

CARE AND MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH PLAY SEASON: n Tighten a hardware. n Lubricate a metaic moving parts per manufacturer s instructions. n Check a protective coverings on bots, pipes, edges, and corners. Repace if they are oose, cracked, or missing. n Check a moving parts incuding swing seats and chains for wear, rust or other deterioration. Repace as needed. n Check meta parts for rust. If found, sand and repaint using a non-ead paint meeting the requirements of 16 CFR 1303. n Reinsta any pastic parts, such as swing seats or any other items that were removed for the cod season. n Rake and check depth of oose fi protective surfacing materias to prevent compaction and to maintain appropriate depth. Repace as needed. TWICE A MONTH DURING PLAY SEASON: n Tighten a hardware. n Check a protective coverings on bots, pipes, edges and corners. Repace if they are oose, cracked or missing. n Rake and check depth of oose fi protective surfacing materias to prevent compaction and to maintain appropriate depth. Repace as needed. ONCE A MONTH DURING PLAY SEASON: n Lubricate a metaic moving parts per manufacturer s instructions. n Check a moving parts incuding swing seats and chains for wear, rust or other deterioration. Repace as needed. n Rake and check depth of oose fi protective surfacing materias to prevent compaction and to maintain appropriate depth. Repace as needed. AT THE END OF EACH PLAY SEASON: n At the end of each pay season or when the temperature drops beow 32 degrees F (0 degrees C). n Remove pastic swing seats and other items as specified by the manufacturer and take indoors or do not use. n Rake and check depth of oose fi protective surfacing materias to prevent compaction and to maintain appropriate depth. Repace as needed. As a genera rue, maintenance shoud be performed at any time it is deemed necessary. DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS u Pease use care when disassembing the equipment, when it is no onger in operationa condition. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Ø Pace the payground equipment on eve ground and not ess than 6ft (1.8m) from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, aundry ine, or eectrica wires. Ø Do not insta the payground equipment over concrete, asphat, packed earth, or any other hard surface; a fa onto a hard surface can resut in serious injury or death to the equipment user. Ø Adequate overhead cearance is essentia. A minimum cearance from ground eve sha be recommended. Provide cearance for wires, tree imbs, and other possibe hazards. Ø Use the swing set in a we-ighted area. Artificia iumination may be required for shady areas. Ø Secure the swing set against unauthorized and unsupervised use. Ø The owner and supervisors of the swing set are responsibe to make a users aware of practices specified in the use instructions. TIGHTENING NUTS & BOLTS Ø For ease of instaation, do not over-tighten the nuts and bots when you are first putting the equipment together. some possibe adjustments during instaation. This wi aow for Ø Once you have finished assembing each component of the pay set, make sure to go back over each step and propery tighten a nuts, bots and pastic caps. Ø Connect swing seat to the chains by inserting J3 through K1 and secure with J7, J9 and J6 as shown in Diagram B. Ø Repeat the above steps to assembe A3 in the same manner as A1.
