2.The bid guarantee shall be forfeited (a)if the bidder withdraws / modifies / changes / impairs / derogates the bid proposal on his own after the bid is opened within the validity period. (b)non acceptance of the Letter of Intent / Purchase Order by the bidder when issued within the validity period, including extensions, if any.
