The miing head sim, compact and rigid Its compact and sim design guarantees optimum accessibiity to the work piece to be machined. The drive is a backash-free worm drive and can thus counteract high machining forces. No imits on universaity The proven pivoting head design guarantees a high universaity for muti-sided machining and is designed for simutaneous miing operations with up to 5 axes. This key technoogy has been used successfuy at Reiden Technik AG for years in different ranges of machinery. Cear work space Even with the miing head pivoted the operator aways has an optima view of the too and work piece. Work pieces of up to ø 1 350 mm can be turned in the whoe work space. Vertica miing head position In the vertica miing head position the front fattened tabe edge can be driven up to and up to 300 mm behind the fattened tabe edge. Horizonta miing head position In the horizonta spinde position the spinde centre can be driven up to 10mm beow the edge of the tabe. DDT Doube Drive Technoogy Unique and patented As standard the RX10 is deivered with a motor spinde version of 18 000 min -1 and a maximum torque of 135 Nm. The Doube Drive design patented by Reiden Technik AG is avaiabe as an option. With this version a maximum torque of 291 Nm is reached via the High Torque Motor at up to 3 000 min -1. From 3 000 min -1 the High-Torque-Motor is decouped and a maximum number of revoutions of 16 000 min -1 reached via the buit in motor spinde in the head. Axis drives The axis drive motors are directy inked to the ba screw. The inine design aows direct power transfer and maximum performance. The Z axis is driven with a doube-spinde drive (master-save drive). Direct measuring systems The Heidenhahn direct measuring system in the inear and rotary axes, which are connected as standard to the seaing air, guarantee the highest machine precision for years. Tabe support High mechanica basic accuracy is the basis for the precision formed on the machined work piece. Therefore the tabe support is handscraped to the other basic components on the entire surface. Linear roer guide ways Each inear axis is equipped with four roer shoes. These are connected to the automatic ubrication system and are maintenance-free.
