COMPLIANCE MANDATORY. This service bulletin must be accomplished as follows: For aircraft with 7000 or more flights hours at the time of receipt, this service bulletin must be accomplished within 1800 flight hours or 24 months whichever occurs first, from the date of receipt. For aircraft below 7000 hours at the time of receipt, this service bulletin must be accomplished within 3600 flight hours or 4 years, whichever occurs first, from the date of receipt. It is recommended to accomplish this service bulletin at the next Inspection Document 9. NOTE: All aircraft listed in the EFFECTIVITY must complete this bulletin within the COMPLIANCE statement time limits. NOTE: Accomplishment of this bulletin eliminates the repetitive inspections that are required by SL680-53-05 Aft Canted Bulkhead Inspection (Revision 2 or later). A service bulletin published by Cessna Aircraft Company may be recorded as "completed" in an aircraft log only when the following requirements are satisfied: 1) The mechanic must complete all of the instructions in the service bulletin, including the intent therein. 2) The mechanic must correctly use and install all applicable parts supplied with the service bulletin kit. Only with written authorization from Cessna Aircraft Company can substitute parts or rebuilt parts be used to replace new parts. 3) The mechanic or airplane owner must use the technical data in the service bulletin only as approved and published. 4) The mechanic or airplane owner must apply the information in the service bulletin only to aircraft serial numbers identified in the "Effectivity" section of the bulletin. 5) The mechanic or airplane owner must use maintenance practices that are identified as acceptable standard practices in the aviation industry and governmental regulations. Prepare the airplane for maintenance. A. Make sure that the airplane is electrically grounded. Revision 1 - May 20, 2016 Page 3

B. Make sure that all switches are in the OFF/NORM position. C. Disconnect electrical power from the airplane. (1) Disconnect the airplane batteries. (2) Disconnect external electrical power. D. Attach maintenance warning tags to the batteries and external power receptacle that have "DO NOT CONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER - MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS" written on them. E. Make sure the tail stand is in position under the tail of the airplane. F. Open the tailcone maintenance door to access to the forward side of the aft canted bulkhead. 2. Remove the APU. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 49, Auxiliary Power Unit Power Plant - Maintenance Practices.) A. After the APU is removed, remove access panels 330ABC, and 330CBC. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels Identification - Description and Operation.) NOTE: After the APU is removed, it is acceptable to have all three APU access panels removed from the airplane at the same time. 3. Remove the rudder fairing panel 342AB. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels Identification - Description and Operation.) A. Disconnect the tailcone electrical connector PT070. 4. Remove the APU truss assembly. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 49, Auxiliary Power Unit Power Plant - Maintenance Practices.) 5. Disconnect all components common to the APU heat shield. NOTE: The video has additional information that may be helpful with understanding the components that need to be disconnected. Some of the components are the Firewall Pan Down Tube, Bleed Air line, APU Power and Ground Wire Bundle Assembly, APU Fire Detect and JT076 Connectors, APU Fuel Supply Line, and the Fire Extinguisher Line. 6. Remove the stinger. 7. Remove the APU heat sheild. NOTE: The video has additional information that may be helpful with understanding the removal process for the APU heat shield. 8. Complete the 6991115-1 Aft Canted Bulkhead Modification. (Refer to Cessna Engineering drawing 6991115.) 9. Install the APU Heat Sheild. 10. Connect all components common to the APU heat shield that were disconnected when the heat shield was removed. 11. Seal the APU heat shield with Type IV firewall sealant. 12. Install the stinger and rudder fairing panel 342AB. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels Identification - Description and Operation.) A. Connect the tailcone electrical connector PT070. 13. Install the APU truss assembly. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 49, Auxiliary Power Unit Power Plant - Maintenance Practices.) 14. Install access panels 330ABC and 330CBC. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels Identification - Description and Operation.) 15. Install the APU. 16. If not already installed during the APU installation, install access panels 330ABC, 330CBC, and 330BBC. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels Identification - Description and Operation.) 17. Close the tailcone maintenance door. 18. Remove the maintenance warning tags and connect the airplane batteries. 19. Complete an operational check of all removed and disconnected equipment. (Refer to the applicable Chapter in the Model 680 Maintenance Manual.) 20. Record that this service bulletin has been completed. A. Complete a Maintenance Transaction Report. B. Put a copy of the completed Maintenance Transaction Report in the airplane logbook. C.
