Grove Street Advisors was selected through a competitive process to manage this program called California Emerging Ventures (CEV). Over time, CalPERS expanded this program with CEV II and CEV III, and the program's charter was broadened to include the full range of private equity funds. About Grove Street Advisors Grove Street Advisors manages customized private equity fund-of-funds for large institutional clients. N/A Not applicable. 1 Vintage Years are determined based on the latter of i) the date CEV first contributed capital to the fund or ii) the date the fund made its first investment. 2 IRR is calculated based upon actual dates of cash flows and quarter-end valuations. The IRR calculation includes interest paid, if applicable. 3 Multiple is calculated as "Cash Out + Remaining Value" divided by "Cash In." 4 Berkshire only values its portfolio on an annual basis, therefore interim IRRs are not necessarily representative of intra-year changes in value. 5 Commitment is denominated in foreign currency, therefore U.S. dollar commitment will fluctuate quarter-to-quarter.
