4 HYDRO EXCAVATOR (ТRENCHER) -40 o EXTREME WEATHER CONDITION HYDRO EXCAVATOR Our hydro excavator (trencher) is equipped with a compressed-air lance and a powerful water jet for digging trenches and perforating confined spaces. This type of vacuum truck is considered the safest for locating underground utilities, reducing the risk of damage by more than half. The Supervac trencher can dig and remove materials from a small, confined area, preventing damage to the surrounding environment. The truck features a hydro excavation system that is highly efficient in frozen ground and cold weather, thanks to a boiler providing up to 900,000 BTU. Its water pump can generate up to 6,000 PSI. The vehicle s air excavation system can also be used for dry materials. Excavated dirt can be reused to fill the trench. This fully autonomous unit vacuums up debris effortlessly. A reel mounted on the front or rear of the truck is available with a hose up to to 700 long. Various rotation and extension configurations are offered. Various types of pressure pumps from 35 GPM to 170 GPM are also available. An auxiliary engine can be selected for water pumps requiring more power. The vacuum pumps available generally range from 1,400 CFM to 6,400 CFM (15 HG 27 HG). Water tanks can be integrated into the debris tank or separated. We also offer a water circulation system, heatexchanger and boiler for ease of use in cold weather. With a loading capacity of up to 7,800 gallons (US), it can be equipped with an auxiliary diesel engine for on-site operational autonomy. Our trailers can be fitted with all the accessories available with Supervac equipment, such as wet and dry modes with fine particle filtering chambers, pressure pumps or hydro excavators, reels, telescopic hydraulic booms, and more. Our conventional vacuum trucks and semi-trailers are the safest options for transporting petroleum product residues. Suitable filtration systems are designed to filter fine particles that are harmful to equipment and the environment. Liquid ring pumps are also available to replace our standard lobe or fan pumps. Our certifications ASME, DOT, TC 407/412 are proof of our competence and the conformity of our equipment with very strict standards of the petroleum sector. CONSTRUCTION In the construction field, our hydro and air excavators are mainly used to aspirate materials of all kinds both liquid and solid. They are used in particular when digging trenches and holes for poles (polarization) and for digging in hazardous or restricted environments. We propose two alternatives: Hydro-excavation or Air-excavation. Hydro-excavation is a digging technique from 3,000 psi to 6,000 psi, using water at ambient temperature or heated with a burner of more than 800,000 btu. One of the strong points of our equipment is our insulated and heated cabins which allows us to work at temperatures - 40 Celsius. This technique is extremely efficient and fast, even in frozen ground. The air-excavation offers an air jet, without water. Thus, the collected material is dry and can be reused on site rather than having to be relayed to a deposit of liquid materials. Air-excavation is generally used in less compact soil. A major asset to the air-excavation is that a water supply is not required to perform the digging. Supervac is renowned for its professionalism and good business practices.
