2 Penrith Working Truck Show Sunday 11 th March 2018 Important Information for Participants Pre-Entry & Payment Required All trucks MUST be on-site by 6.00pm Saturday 10th March NO ENTRY SUNDAY MORNING Entry forms will be accepted from 29th January 2018 and will close when maximum number of trucks has been reached or at noon Saturday 10th March 2018 at the latest - NO EXCEPTIONS Overnight SECURITY will be provided. Showers are provided on site for your convenience. Breakfast on Sunday will be provided by Wales Truck and Trailer Repairs from 6.30am am. 1. Parking - All visitor parking is now in the Commuter Car Park on the Eastern Boundary of the Museum off Coreen Avenue through new Thornton Estate with pedestrian access via the Eastern Boundary Gate. Also Car Parks Jane St Penrith southern side Railway Station use elevators on rail bridge, easy walk. There is no provision for parking off Castlereagh Road. Pedestrian access only from Castlereagh Road. 2. Arrival Time - To assist with the very difficult task of positioning and numbering trucks and preparing judging sheets, trucks are required to be in position by 6.00 pm Saturday. No vehicles will be permitted entry on Sunday morning. Trucks must be entered onto computers on Saturday night for judging and thus it is vital that we have your assistance in this regard. There will be a professional security firm patrolling the grounds all Friday, Saturday and Sunday night through to Monday morning to look after the vehicles. 3. Trucks should be opened by 8.00am. Entry cards and sashes are to be distributed at this time and any last minute questions can be raised at this point. In the interest of safety no truck will be permitted to move from its position before 5.20pm. Please take care after this time to look for pedestrians, particularly children moving about the trucks. 4. Judging - Judging will commence from 9.00am. Trucks whose cabins are not open with cards in place will lose points due to the inability to judge the inside of the cabin. Longest Distance Travelled to Show will be judged by the presentation of Log Books. (Log Books should be presented to main office in Museum building.) 5. Private Parking - No private vehicles are permitted on site. All parking for the truck show is now Commuter Car Parks adjacent to the railway station via Coreen Avenue. Also south side of Railway Station via Jane St 6. Alcohol - Under the conditions of the Liquor Licence for the Show, NO alcohol is to be bought onto the premises. Beer and drinks are available at the Show for very reasonable prices as part of our fundraising efforts. The same rules and regulations governing Clubs and Hotels in the responsible service of alcohol also apply to this Show. 7. Tickets - Each entrant receives two tickets, one for the driver of the truck and another for a partner or a friend. The driver must be in possession of a ticket at all times while on Museum premises and will need to have their ticket with them to gain entry on Sunday. Reduced priced tickets are available for pre-purchase to participating Companies at a cost of $30.00 each. Up to Three (3) children under 16 years of age are admitted free with paying adult (Student ID required if over 13 years). Under no circumstances will anyone be admitted without a ticket. 8. NO animals permitted. Guide or carer dogs permitted with appropriate paperwork. 9. Charity Auction - To allow more time and better presentation of trophies the Charity Auction is once again to be held on a different stage located outside the Museum building s entrance. The first auction is to be held at the Playground area at am promptly. A second Auction will be held at 4pm on the main stage prior to the Trophy Presentation. There are many great bargains on offer and we strongly suggest that you bring your cheque book to avoid disappointment. There will be tyres, jackets, limited edition items and a large assortment of truck and car accessories. If you can supply contacts for donation of items it would be greatly appreciated.

Eg: don t bring a Trailer unless you have entered in a Trailer Category. If you enter as a Prime Mover then don t bring a Trailer. Please pay attention to your entry form, ask for help if you need it.
