2 The Company ViscoTec, a German company, specializes in systems for conveying, dosing, applying, filling and emptying of low to high viscosity fluids. Handling of all materials in some cases with viscosities of up to mpas is performed virtually pulsation-free and with extremely low shear stress. We provide detailed project management, and offer extensive testing, especially for challenging applications. Our dosing pumps and systems are designed to meet your individual requirements and are manufactured to the highest quality standards available in the various industries we participate in. Company building of ViscoTec The Endless-Piston-Principle The dosing technology of ViscoTec dispensers is based on the endless piston dosing principle (see schematic). Just imagine a piston. The special geometry allows for an endless, pulsation-free dosing flow with absolute volumetric control in either dot or bead applications. The option of reversing the dosing direction (drawback) prevents dripping and results in a controlled cutting off of the fluid thread. Particularly sensitive media with high viscosities and filler content are treated gently due to the low shear stress and low pressure. And then, several pistons behind one another.. This technology applies to all of our systems. Whether dosing, filling, supplying, discharging or treating ViscoTec is always the right choice! 6 VisCompact Duo-Desk 2-Component Dosing System for Desktop Working Stations NEW! Advantages at one glance Programmable dosing volume Programmable mixing ratio High precision compliance to the mixing ratio even with varying fluid viscosities The VisCompact Duo-Desk was developed to give access to the ViscoTec endless-piston-principle for 2-component desktop dispensing configurations. The technology of programmable dosing volumes and mixing ratios as already used in fully automatic production lines is now also available for manual assembly work places. The centerpiece of the product consists of two units of ViscoTec high precision dispensing pumps connected by an accurately matching mixing head. The dispense pumps are actuated by servo motors with programmable on-board control units. The system is controlled by a panel processor with touch screen interface. The system set-up and operation can be operateds via a well-designed graphical user interface including service and calibration menus for a comfortable system operation. The two 5 l feeding tanks are equipped with clamp connectors for rapid disassembly and liquid level sensors in order to indicate a required refill task. Individual pressure sensors for dosing channel A and B monitor the dosing pressure to operate the static mixer and mixing process within the specified values. The system concept does not require specific metering components, feedback control systems or accuracy assurance options to operate within the system specifications.
