Types of Conveyor Belts C-Flex conveyor belting is available in both all-nylon (NN) and Polyester-Nylon (EP) carcass and can be manufactured in different grades, as stated herein: rade M-24: Compounded from premium quality natural rubber to provide excellent resistance to cutting gouging, wear and tear and conforms to the maximum abrasion loss value minimum tensile strength specified for Grade M-24 in IS rade N-17: Compounded rubber with improves life for moderately abrasive material conforming to the maximum abrasion loss value & minimum tensile strength specified for Grade N-17. rade HR: Specially compounded rubber capable of withstanding thermal degradation for prolonged periods and recommended for handling material like alumina, ash clinker, foundry sand, etc. at temperatures above 65 C and up to 120 C for fines and 140 C for coarse materials. rade SHR: Thoroughly proven in the field, this grade has been specially formulated, using selected synthetic and natural rubber, to provide superior heat and abrasion resistance and is recommended for handling material having temperatures over 65 C upto 180 C for coarse and 160 C for fines. rade FR: The growing demand for fire resistant rubber conveyor belting was first catered to by C-Flex with this grade of cover rubber. Our technologists have developed FR belting to meet as per The Bureau of Indian Standard Specification No. IS:1891 Part (V) 1993 and The Canadian Standard Association Specification (CSA) No. CAN/CSA-M422-M87 of 1987 Type C. rade OR: This cover grade with specially blended synthetic compounds is designed to give the best possible resistance to mineral, vegetable and animal oils. rade UHR: Specially formulated, using selected synthetic rubber to provide superior heat & abrasion resistance and is recommended for handling material like hot cement, clinker, phosphate hot sintered ore having temperatures over 165 C for coarse and over 180 C for fines. rade SAR: Specially formulated from premium quality natural & synthetic rubber to provide excellent resistance to highly abrasive material against tear and wear and to the maximum abrasion loss value for 90 mm³. rade CMR: This cover grade with specially blended synthetic compounds provides best possible resistance to different chemicals. Belt Designation C-Flex belts are available in different duty types viz. General, Extra & Heavy.

3 Technical Data : C-Flex conveyor belts are designated to denote the minimum guaranteed full thickness tensile strength and the number of reinforcing plies of synthetic textile e.g. /3 denotes a belt having a minimum guaranteed full thickness tensile strength of kn/m. Cleated Belting: The most important feature of the CLEAT is that they are moulded integrally with Top Rubber Cover and in consequences will withstand harsh treatment without separation. Rubber CLEATS increases the capacity of belt to elevate loose materials and permit Steeper Angles of inclination without damage to the products. A wide choice of CLEAT LAYOUT can be made on the BELT. In short, jointing by vulcanised splice increases the life of belt and smoothens the performance of the belt. Vulcanised splice is not recommended where frequent extension or retraction of lengths of belts are made. Inadequate take-up has been provided and where the belt is being used continuously and it is not possible to stop it long enough to allow a Splice to be made. 2.Top/Bottom patch Repairing These belts are specially designed to transport food (fruits, vegitables, grains etc) and comply fully with the in-force laws concerning the hygiene of food.these belts are manufactured to suit specific requirements.
