Safety information Read the entire manual before starting the machine and before carrying out any maintenance. Ensure good ventilation (extraction of air by fan) where the engine is run indoors. General - Familiarize yourself with the equipment on the machine. - Only operate the machine if you are familiar with how the controls work and how the machine functions. - Use your safety equipment such as helmet, protective shoes and hearing protection. - Familiarize yourself with the machine's area of work. - Only use the machine for its intended purpose Inspect the machine every day, before starting. Inspect the entire machine so that any leakages or other faults are detected. Check the ground under the machine. Leakages are more easily detected on the ground than on the machine itself. THINK ENVIRONMENT! Do not release oil, fuel and other environmentally hazardous substances into the environment. Always dispose of used filters, drained oil and any remaining fuel properly xxxEN

5 1 Manual pump (brake release): Check if the manual pump valve is working properly by releasing parking brake and move machine slowly forward. The knob (1) should move up. Put the F/R lever (2) in neutral and the knob (1) should go down. In case of malfunction, replace the pump. This test must be performed daily. Do not perform any of the other tests in the following points if the manual pump has malfunctioned, it must be replaced first. 2 Brake condition test Brake Test on slope To be performed with the engine running. To test parking brake, you need to put the machine on a slope up to 20%, and put the F/R lever in neutral position (1). After 3 seconds the brake will be applied electronically and the machine should stop. If the brake is not working, keep the machine control by using the F/R lever. Alternatively, you can also perform the test by towing the machine slowly. With the engine running and the F/R lever (1) in neutral position, press the parking brake button (2). It should find some resistance to pull the machine xxxEN

It shall be possible to move the handle 2-3 mm. Remove the hose on the outlet from the valve as marked in the picture.

6 Alternative testing with disconnected brake release The machine shall be standing on flat ground and diesel engine shall be switch off. Check that the area around the manual brake release valve is free from contamination. Pull the handle on the valve to make sure there is no pressure in the system. It shall be possible to move the handle 2-3 mm. Remove the hose on the outlet from the valve as marked in the picture. Block the outlet on the valve and the hose fitting with a proper steel plug: Suggested parts (3/4-16UNF/JIC): 2x plug PN x straight connector PN Make sure there are no people in front of or behind the machine. Place wheel chocks 100mm away from the wheels, in front and behind the rear wheels xxxEN

If the machine not move when activating the F/R lever

In case of any abnormal behavior, the machine must be sent to repair. Pressure testing Apply a measuring nipple to the brake release line and measure the pressure with machine on, you should find 20 bar with brakes released. Turn off the machine and pressure should drop to less than 10 bar, meaning that the brakes are actuating xxxEN
