2 Nationwide Battery Warranty - Overview Background Mighty makes available to their customers, the opportunity to provide a Nationwide Battery-Warranty. Automotive Business Solutions (ABS) administers the Nationwide Warranty program for Mighty through a 1-(855) call center. Consumers are directed on how to receive warranty benefit coverage when they are More than 25-miles away from the original point of purchase.

3 Nationwide Battery Warranty - Overview What happens when a consumer experiences a battery failure and the vehicle is Less Than 25-miles from where the consumer originally purchased the battery or had it installed in the vehicle? Answer The warranty states that the consumer is to go back to the original purchase location. No need to get ABS involved.

4 Nationwide Battery Warranty - Overview What happens when a consumer experiences a battery failure and the vehicle is Greater Than 25-miles from where the consumer originally purchased the battery or had it installed in the vehicle? Answer The warranty states that the consumer is to call the 1-(855) Nationwide Warranty number. An ABS representative will speak directly with the consumer and request additional information to determine if warranty coverage applies in this particular situation.

5 What Happens Next? ABS (Automotive Business Solutions) Verifies that the consumer has a receipt for the battery. Reviews program protocols for determining the warranty period remaining on the battery and service provider options. Discusses options: (Mighty locations, Local service providers in the immediate area). Instructs that the selected service provider call ABS so that the warranty claim process can be discussed and agreed upon.

6 What Happens Next? (con t) ABS (Automotive Business Solutions) ABS next verifies from the consumer chosen service provider that the battery does in fact test Bad. ABS provides payment via credit card. Note: In most instances, if logistically possible, a Mighty location is the first alternative ABS will suggest to a consumer.

7 Questions & Answers What if The consumer cannot find their receipt for the battery. Answer The consumer Must be able to provide proof of purchase. If they cannot provide a receipt, then ABS informs them that a claim cannot be filed and processed. What if ABS verifies from the service provider that the battery does in fact test Good. Answer If the battery tests Good by the service provider, ABS will not process a claim. What if The consumer wants a different group size or type of replacement battery. Answer ABS will only authorize when dealing with a 100% full replacement of a battery in warranty of a like kind, type, and / or group size. What if The service provider will not accept ABS form of payment via credit card. Answer The consumer has the option of going to an accepting service provider and purchasing the replacement battery of like kind, type, and / or group size and then submitting a copy of the sales receipt within 60-days to ABS for reimbursement.

8 Reminder Mighty, in most instances, is the first alternative ABS will suggest to a consumer who experiences a battery failure and the vehicle is Greater Than 25-miles from where the consumer originally purchased the battery or had it installed in the vehicle. Mighty should Always utilize ABS repayment verses taking a local mark-down.

9 Warranty Review Nationwide Limited Battery Warranty Warranty limited to the original purchaser. Warranty limited to the original vehicle. Warranty May-Not be transferred to a new vehicle owner.

10 Warranty Review What is Covered by the Limited Warranty Warranty starts from the original purchase date. If battery is replaced during the free replacement period, the warranty continues from the original purchase date. The warranty is not extended. Warranty covers defects in materials and/or workmanship. Discharged batteries are to be recharged and put back into service. A warranty replacement battery is to be of same or like kind in terms of battery group size and quality.

11 Warranty Review What is Not Covered by this Limited Warranty Warranty does not apply to discharged batteries. Warranty does not cover or reimburse for: Labor, Battery Installation, Towing, and any caused Damages. Warranty does not cover: Frozen Batteries, Tampered with Batteries, Additives, Faulty Electrical Systems, Fire, Flood, Wreckage, Neglect, Abuse, Misapplied Application. Warranty claims outside of the United States and Canada are not covered.

12 Warranty Review How to Obtain Warranty Service Consumer must be in possession of the original or readable copy of the original receipt. If within 25-miles or less of the original place of purchase, the consumer must go back to the place of purchase.
