PURPOSE The purpose of this Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Supplement is to provide the maintenance technician with the information necessary to ensure the correct removal and installation of the components installed by ECR , Convert Interior to Air Ambulance Configuration on Cessna Model 560, serial This supplemental document is designed to satisfy the required 14 CFR Instructions for Continued Airworthiness requirements associated with this installation. This document is a supplement to the Model 560 Maintenance Manual and the Model 560 Illustrated Parts Catalog may or may not be incorporated If this information is incorporated into the Model 560 Maintenance Manual or Illustrated Parts Catalog, the Maintenance Manual or Illustrated Parts Catalog shall take precedence over this supplemental document. Refer to the application ATA chapter and section of the respective Maintenance Manual for the status of all ICA Supplements applicable to your model. NOTE: This document must be placed with the aircraft operator s Maintenance Manual and incorporated into the operator s scheduled maintenance program FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION APPROVED ICA The Air Ambulance Configuration on Cessna Model 560 serial 0244 is a combination of installations approved under EC , covering changes to the Model 560 Type Certificate, and installations that are approved by Transport Canada Serial Number Specific STC. This ICA covers only the installations that are approved under EC and does not cover the ICA for installations that are approved under the Transport Canada STC. EFFECTIVITY This Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) supplement is effective for the following aircraft model(s) and serialization where ECR is installed: Table 1 Installation ICA Effectivity Model Effectivity COMPLETE ICA DOCUMENTS The following document(s), in conjunction with this supplement, constitute the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness required to Convert Interior to Air Ambulance Configuration system installation. All items must be available to the operator at initial delivery. Model 560 Illustrated Parts Catalog Avionics Wiring Diagrams , where 0244 is the serial effectivity of the aircraft. Model 560 Maintenance Manual 3. DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION 3.1. DESCRIPTION This Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) supplement is effective for and those items installed by EC , Convert Interior to Air Ambulance Configuration.

9 Cessna Aircraft Company Page 8 NOTE: This ICA supplement pertains only to in air ambulance configuration. The Air Ambulance configuration was designed as a permanent configuration; conversion back and forth from air ambulance to standard passenger configuration is not covered in this ICA SYSTEM COMPONENTS LH MID-CABIN STORAGE CABINET The LH mid-cabin cabinet is installed in the LH mid section of the cabin. The cabinet is installed to the inboard and outboard seat tracks at two locations each. The cabinet accommodates a medication kit and some general storage LH AFT STORAGE CABINET The LH aft storage cabinet is installed in the LH aft section of the cabin. The cabinet is attached to the floor with brackets. The top attachment utilizes the already existing divider installation hardware EQUIPMENT SUPPORT ARM The equipment support arm is included as loose equipment. The support arm is attached to the anchor plate installation. The equipment support arm supports Lifepak 12 equipment AFT FLOOR MODIFICATION The aft floor modification includes additional brackets attached to existing airframe structure to support medical equipment OVERHEAD BROWN LINE TRACK INSTALLATION The overhead brown line track installation is attached to existing airframe structure inboard of the headliner and is used to support medical equipment HEADLINER ANCHOR PLATE INSTALLATION The headliner anchor plate installation is attached to existing airframe structure inboard of the headliner and is used to support medical equipment MEDICAL SUCTION LINE INSTALLATION The medical suction line is installed outboard of the RH window reveal and sidewall panels. The medical suction system lines run from the suction manifold plate to the middle and aft OSE modules.

10 Cessna Aircraft Company Page MEDICAL OXYGEN LINE INSTALLATION The medical oxygen lines run from the aft pressure bulkhead into three locations in the cabin overhead and one location on the lower RH sidewall. The oxygen bottles are not a part of EC and are therefore not covered by this ICA OXYGEN, SUCTION, AND ELECTRICAL MODULE INSTALLATION There are three (3) OSE modules located on the right hand side of the cabin. The OSE modules are mounted to the brown line track located on the inboard side of the right hand side window reveal. The forward OSE module provides medical oxygen and electrical power. The middle and aft OSE modules provide medical oxygen, medical suction, and 110VAC electrical power. ICA for electrical installations is covered by STC PROVISION FOR SIDE-FACING SEAT (SFS) SHOULDER HARNESS ATTACHMENT The provision for side-facing seat shoulder harness attachment is attached to existing airframe structure on the RH side of the cabin, inboard of the window reveal. The support bracketry is attached to the airframe structure.

37 Cessna Aircraft Company Page AIRCRAFT WIRING Interior Wiring All interior wiring associated with the installations under EC are covered in Section 3.4 of CMR and approved by Transport Canada Serial Number Specific STC. 4. REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION NOTE: If applicable, make sure that the aircraft is configured for maintenance as defined by the associated system in the maintenance manual or in this document, including the removal of electrical power, avionics power, hydraulic power, etc., prior to removal or installation of aircraft components. NOTE: Component removal instructions for equipment installed under this EC are listed below. Component removal instructions for installation approved under Transport Canada Serial Number Specific STC are included in CMR ELECTRICAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. CAUTION: REFRESHMENT CENTERS AND CABINETS INCORPORATING ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS MUST HAVE THE ELECTRICAL WIRE BUNDLE(S) PROPERLY ROUTED AND SECURED. REFER TO THE MODEL 560 WIRING DIAGRAM MANUAL FOR ROUTING AND SECURING WIRE BUNDLES. 1. Disconnect batteries and remove power. 2. Verify the appropriate circuit breaker is disengaged before performing maintenance on any electrical components or wiring. 3. Secure and protect electrical wires to prevent contact with moving parts such as drawers and hardware. 4. Ensure clearance exists between electrical wiring and heat generating components. 5. Ensure electrical wiring is not crushed/pinched between the cabinetry and the airplane structure during installation of the cabinetry. 6. Cabinetry constructed of some composite materials may contain material such as graphite which will conduct electricity in the same manner as metal. Ensure

38 Cessna Aircraft Company Page 37 electrical wiring insulation is not frayed and bare wires are repaired or replaced. Wire bundles should be properly routed using grommets, necessary clamps and tie straps LH MID-CABIN STORAGE CABINET REMOVE LH MID-CABIN STORAGE CABINET. 1. Remove electrical power from airplane. Disengage CB512 SUCTION PUMP AND SWITCH, CB AMP OUTLETS AND SWITCH, CB514 MEDICAL OXYGEN SWITCH, CB265 MEDICAL POWER ON SWITCH circuit breakers located in the Auxiliary Power J-Box in the RH forward tailcone. Disengage CB 423 INTERCOM, CB443 SKYTRAC CONTROLLER, CB424 INTERCOM/PHONE SWITCH located in the RH Cockpit Circuit Breaker Panel. 2. Disconnect electrical connectors JC/PC0629R, JC/PC0524R, JC/PC0476R and JC/PC0537R. 3. Remove cotter pin and stop on forward side of cabinet tracks. 4. Slide cabinet forward and remove from tracks. 5. Remove cabinet from plane INSTALL LH MID-CABIN STORAGE CABINET. 1. Place cabinet in line with tracks and slide aft. 2. Once cabinet is in position, secure stop with cotter pin on forward side of tracks. The forward side of cabinet should be at or near FS Connect electrical connectors JC/PC0629R, JC/PC0524R, JC/PC0476R and JC/PC0537R. 4. Reconnect electrical power from airplane. Engage CB512 SUCTION PUMP AND SWITCH, CB AMP OUTLETS AND SWITCH, CB514 MEDICAL OXYGEN SWITCH, CB265 MEDICAL POWER ON SWITCH circuit breakers located in the Auxiliary Power J-Box in the RH forward tailcone. Engage CB423 INTERCOM, CB443 SKYTRAC CONTROLLER, CB424 INTERCOM/PHONE SWITCH located in the RH Cockpit Circuit Breaker Panel. 5. For operations test of equipment installed in cabinet see ICA document CMR

Check doors for proper operation and damage. 3. Check switches, controls, and outlets for evidence of arcing, shorts or overheating REMOVE PHONE RINGER. 1. Remove LH Mid-Cabinet. Refer to instruction listed above. 2. Remove four (4) screws securing phone ringer bracket to cabinet and remove phone ringer. 3. Disconnect electrical connector JC/PC0563R from phone ringer INSTALL PHONE RINGER. 1. Connect electrical connector JC/PC0563R to phone ringer. 2. Secure phone ringer and bracket to cabinet with four (4) screws. 3. Install cabinet. Refer to instructions listed above. 4. For operational test of phone ringer see ICA document CMR LH AFT STORAGE CABINET REMOVE LH AFT STORAGE CABINET. 1. Remove electrical power from airplane. Disengage CB435 (CABIN DISPLAY), CB443 (SKYTRAC), CB423 (INTERCOM) located in the Right-Hand cockpit circuit breaker panel. Disengage CB511, CB513 AND CB521 located in the auxiliary power j-box in the forward tailcone. 2. Disconnect electrical connectors. For LED Lighting remove: PC0583R, PC0638R, PC0565R, PC0566R, PC0567R, PC0568R, PC0569R, PC0570R, PC0571R, PC0572R. For Rosenview remove: PC0518R, PC0519R, PC0520R, PC484R. For Skytrac remove: PC0523R, PC0457R, PC0458R and PC0462R. 3. Remove all drawers from lower cabinet. 4. Remove four (4) screws securing header to cabinet. 5. Remove ten (10) screws securing lower cabinet to upper cabinet. 6. Remove two (2) button plugs from lower cabinet. Remove one (1) button plug from upper cabinet.

Remove two (2) bolts securing lower cabinet to structure and tilt slightly forward. 10. Remove lower cabinet from airplane INSTALL LH AFT STORAGE CABINET. 1. Place lower cabinet near installed position in airplane. The aft side of cabinet should be at or near FS Reconnect electrical connectors. For LED Lighting connect: PC0583R, PC0638R, PC0565R, PC0566R, PC0567R, PC0568R, PC0569R, PC0570R, PC0571R, PC0572R. For Rosenview connect: PC0518R, PC0519R, PC0520R, PC484R. For Skytrac connect: PC0523R, PC0457R, PC0458R and PC0462R. 3. Secure lower cabinet to structure with two (2) bolts. 4. Secure upper cabinet to lower cabinet with ten (10) screws. 5. Secure upper cabinet to structure with overhead mounting pin. Lock in position. 6. Place header in position and secure to cabinet using four (4) screws. 7. Place two (2) button plugs into lower cabinet and one (1) button plug in upper cabinet. 8. Install all drawers in lower cabinet. 9. Engage electrical power to airplane. Engage CB435 (CABIN DISPLAY), CB443 (SKYTRAC), CB423 (INTERCOM) located in the Right-Hand cockpit circuit breaker panel. Engage CB511, CB513 AND CB521 located in the auxiliary power j-box in the forward tailcone. 10. Engage INTERIOR MASTER circuit breaker in cockpit circuit breaker on pilot s side. 11. For operations test of equipment installed in cabinet see ICA document CMR INSPECT LH AFT STORAGE CABINET. 1. Inspect LH aft storage cabinet for nicks, cracks, dents and security of installation. 2. Slide retainers inboard. 3. Slide studs out of sidewall anchor plate. 4. Remove equipment support arm INSTALL EQUIPMENT SUPPORT ARM. 1. Place equipment support arm near installed position. 2. Slide studs on support arm into sidewall anchor plates. 3. Slide retainers outboard to secure studs to sidewall anchor plates. 4. Tighten knurled nuts to secure support arm. 5. Ensure knurled nuts are tight and support arm is secure OVERHEAD BROWN LINE TRACK REMOVE BROWN LINE TRACK. 1. Disconnect batteries and remove external power from aircraft.

Identify and connect medical oxygen, medical suction and electrical connectors JC/PC0614R, JC/PC0615R and JC/PC0616R to OSE modules. NOTE: The forward OSE module provides only medical oxygen and electrical power. The middle and aft OSE modules provide medical oxygen, medical suction and electrical power. 3. Secure OSE modules to brownline track with twelve (12) screws. 4. Inspect OSE modules for security of installation. 5. Engage circuit breaker labeled 115 VAC located on LifePort Base Unit. 6. Place anchor plate in position and secure with two (2) screws. Installation of anchor plates is typical. 2. Check security of installation MEDICAL SUCTION LINE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION REMOVE MEDICAL SUCTION LINE. CAUTION: Disconnect batteries and remove power. Verify appropriate circuit breaker is disengaged before performing maintenance on any electrical components or wiring. Secure and protect electrical wires to prevent fraying. Ensure electrical wiring is not crushed/pinched during removal/installation. 1. Disconnect batteries and remove external power from aircraft. 2. Disengage circuit breaker labeled 115 VAC located on LifePort Base Unit. 3. Turn valve on oxygen bottles clockwise to closed position. The oxygen bottles are located in the aft baggage compartment. 4. Carefully open oxygen port on OSE modules to relieve pressure from oxygen line. 5. Remove twelve (12) screws securing OSE modules to brown line track. Tag for installation. NOTE: The forward OSE module provides only medical oxygen and electrical power. The middle and aft OSE modules provide medical oxygen, medical suction and electrical power. 6. Carefully disconnect medical oxygen line, medical suction line and electrical connectors JC/PC0614R, JC/PC0615R and JC/PC0616R from OSE module. Remove headliner. Refer to Chapter in the Maintenance Manual. 11. Remove right hand window reveal. Refer to Chapter in the Maintenance Manual. 12. Locate and disconnect middle suction line where line feeds up through cabin window stringer. 13. Locate and disconnect aft suction line where line feeds through cabin window stringer. 14. Locate and disconnect aft suction line where line feeds through air duct assembly. 15. Locate and cut three (3) straps securing suction lines to anchors located on outboard side of air duct assembly. 16. Remove and tag aft suction line for installation. NOTE: The manifold plate is bonded to the sidewall air duct assembly. The suction line servicing middle OSE module is rigid. The suction line servicing the aft OSE module is flexible. The sidewall air duct assembly and middle suction line should be removed and installed as one unit. 17. Carefully remove air duct assembly and suction lines from airplane. 18. Cut and remove three (3) straps securing bottom suction line to air duct assembly. Carefully remove bottom suction line by sliding end through cut out in air duct panel. Tag for installation. 19. Disconnect and remove suction lines from manifold plate. Tag for installation. 20. Remove four (4) screws and four (4) clamps securing middle and aft suction lines to structure. Tag for installation INSTALL MEDICAL SUCTION LINE. 1. Position and secure middle and aft medical suction lines to structure with four (4) screws and four (4) clamps.

45 Cessna Aircraft Company Page Connect suction lines to manifold plate. Secure bottom suction line to outboard side of air duct assembly with three (3) MS straps. NOTE: The manifold plate is bonded to the sidewall air duct assembly. The suction line servicing middle OSE module is rigid. The suction line servicing the aft OSE module is flexible. The sidewall air duct assembly and middle suction line should be removed and installed as one unit. 3. Carefully position air duct assembly and align suction lines. 4. Connect aft suction line where line feeds through cabin window stringer. 5. Connect aft suction line where suction line feeds through air duct assembly. 6. Connect middle suction line where suction line feeds through cabin window stringer. 7. Secure middle and aft suction lines to structure with three (3) MS straps. 8. Inspect medical suction line for security of installation. 9. Install right hand window reveal. Refer to Chapter in the Maintenance Manual. 10. Install headliner. Refer to Chapter in the Maintenance Manual. 11. Place anchor plate in position and secure with two (2) screws. Installation is typical for anchor plates. 12. Place brownline track in place and secure with twelve (12) screws. Installation is typical for brownline track. 13. Place OSE modules in position. Identify and connect medical oxygen, medical suction and electrical connectors JC/PC0614R, JC/PC0615R and JC/PC0616R. NOTE: The forward OSE module provides only medical oxygen and electrical power. Middle and aft modules provide medical oxygen, medical suction and electrical power. 14. Secure OSE modules to brownline track with twelve (12) screws. 15. Inspect OSE modules for security of installation. 16. Connect batteries and restore external power to aircraft. 17. Engage circuit breaker labeled 115 VAC located on LifePort Base Unit. 18. Turn valve on oxygen bottles counter-clockwise to open position. The oxygen bottles are located in the aft baggage compartment.

Locate the suction pump switch that is located in aft portion of the LH Mid cabinet s near the suction port and press the switch to turn on the pump and illuminate the On portion of the switch. 3. Make sure pressure gage reads inches of suction with free flow MEDICAL OXYGEN LINE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION REMOVE MEDICAL OXYGEN LINE. CAUTION: Disconnect batteries and remove power. Verify appropriate circuit breaker is disengaged before performing maintenance on any electrical components or wiring. Secure and protect electrical wires to prevent fraying. Ensure electrical wiring is not crushed/pinched during removal/installation. 1. Disconnect batteries and remove external power from aircraft. 2. Disconnect three (3) OSE supply lines from OSE modules. 15. Disconnect and remove three (3) OSE supply lines from main medical oxygen line. NOTE: Oxygen hose assemblies are green anodized at the end connected to main oxygen supply line and silver at the end connected to OSE module. Tag oxygen hose assemblies to ensure hose assemblies are connected correctly during installation. 16. Disconnect oxygen supply line from elbow outboard of manifold plate. 17. Remove twelve (12) screws and twelve (12) clamps securing oxygen line to structure. Tag for installation. 18. Remove oxygen line from airplane INSTALL MEDICAL OXYGEN LINE. 1. Position and secure medical oxygen line to structure with twelve (12) screws and twelve (12) clamps. NOTE: Oxygen hose assemblies are green anodized at the end connected to main oxygen supply line and silver at the end connected to OSE module. Ensure oxygen hose assemblies are connected correctly during installation. 2. Connect oxygen supply line to elbow outboard of manifold plate. 3. Connect three (3) OSE supply lines to main medical oxygen supply line. 4. Connect main medical oxygen line to connector where line feeds through aft pressure bulkhead. 5. Turn valve on oxygen bottles counter-clockwise to open position. The oxygen bottles are located in the aft baggage compartment. 6. Inspect medical oxygen line for evidence of leaks and security of installation.

Inspect OSE modules for security of installation. 15. Connect batteries and restore external power to aircraft. 16. Engage circuit breaker labeled 115 VAC located on LifePort Base Unit MEDICAL OXYGEN LINE LEAK CHECK 1. Make sure the Accessory System Switch located in the center instrument panel is in the Normal position, and the Medical Oxygen switch in On position. 2. Locate the Medical Oxygen switch located in the LH Mid cabinet s switch panel and press the switch to turn the solenoid on to allow oxygen flow to the oxygen ports located in the OSE panels and to illuminate the On portion of the switch. With the appropriate medical oxygen equipment, plug into the oxygen ports to ensure oxygen flow. 3. With oxygen flow established at the ports, push the Medical Oxygen switch located in the center panel to the Off position and check that the oxygen flow has stopped and the Medical Oxygen switch in the LH Mid Cabinet has reset to the Off position. Record ambient temperature and oxygen pressure. 4. After 24 hours with the system not touched, record the ambient temperature and pressure. Adjust for any change in ambient temperature using the Temperature Pressure Chart in Chapter 12 of the Maintenance Manual, Oxygen System - Servicing. The maximum allowable pressure loss is 50 PSIG.
