7 The H-Series Manway H-Series Manway Clamping Options Standard Wingnuts An H-Series Manway standard, and the most popular clamping option. This wingnut comes with a 180 Grit polished finish. Precision Blue Knobs A Biopharmaceutical favorite, this Blue Knob is typically used with situations require enclosed threads. This unit has a molded exterior with a Nitronic 60 insert. Machined Hex Nuts A unique design, which is typically used with situations require enclosed threads and or when clearance issues arise due to the number of lugs on a manway. 8 H-Series Manway Spring Assists offers (2) types of Spring Assists. Our Standard Duty & Heavy Duty. Each assist is designed to offer the operator an easly lifting experience over a wide range of sizes. Typically, lifting force is reduced well below to 50 lb. Standard Duty Spring Assist Sanitary, pharmaceutical design Designed for manways from 12 to 24 Enclosed Spring for easy operation and cleaning The assist comes installed and pre-set for optimal lifting. (See reference photo below). * The spring assist provides a cushioning effect upon closure, using the assemblies stored energy.
