Turn the screw anti-clockwise to remove air. After air removal turn the screw clockwise to close the screw. 2 Cushion : Cylinder cushion are often provided at both ends of the cylinder to slow down near the end of the stroke and prevent the piston from hammering against the end cap. 3 Cushion Adjust Valve : Turn the screw clockwise for longer cushioning time and turn screw anti-clockwise for shorter cushion time.
