2 GT SEATS, steel reinforced, aluminum, made exactly as original. From 6061 aluminum with steel reinforcement. Unlike cheap Fiberglas types, these seats are safe if mounted on the GT steel base that Porsche used. Due to severe accidents from Fiberglas seats, Jennings advised how Porsche had to go to a steel base and steel reinforcement design. Seat Base, steel, to replace wood seat base proven to be very dangerous in racing changed by Porsche after several severe accidents related to failure. We also bend all steel lines to follow the original Porsche configuration in the body & fender wells on our jigs, supply enlarged clamps and then make a complete set of Argus 32mm nut size fittings with 24mm steel braided hose oil lines instead of the 20mm braided lines. This would be the equivalent of an AN 12 complete oil line system. The existing 15mm line system will not support a SCCA race engine according to Vic Skurmants in full race situations. Note: We sell all hard line L s, T s, double straights, with the correct nuts and hard lines bent to shape in 15 mm and 18mm for 356 s including brackets.

5 HEAT GAUGES and SENSOR SYSTEM KITS for individual head and manifold temperature monitoring (kit ready for easy installation) 356 KIT INCLUDES: 4 cylinder manifold temperature gauge, 4 cylinder head temperature gauge both in one under dash comb gauge & instrument panel (as shown) with rotary switch to read temperature of each cylinder head and manifold. Four stainless steel female fittings are provided to weld into the four primary headers that will be mated with senders that are also provided. A harness is supplied that is soldered to the dash instrument and cut to length to route to, two firewall female quick connects. The firewall end is pre-soldered also. For the engine the kit includes 4 stainless steel screws in manifold senders with special wires pre-soldered that must be routed, cut to length and soldered to the male quick connect that goes to firewall mounted female quick connects. Four spark plug rings are easily placed under the spark plugs with wires that must be routed and soldered to a male quick connect for the other female quick connect. Therefore the only soldering is for the two-fire wall male quick connects. The system allows the engine to be removed and another wired engine quickly installed because of the quick connect feature. You will also be able to tell us at what temperature you want a red warning light to go on to signal the driver. Much work has gone into engineering this system for the 356, 356 Carrera and Spyders. Each wire length affects the calibration of the system so each type car s instrument is calibrated differently. The value of such a system is self evident if one considers the expense of today s 4- cam or push rod race engine.
