Linear Ball Bushing En Seal HepcoMotion Super Ball Bushings Super ball bushings from HepcoMotion offer approximately 3 times loa capacity which equates to 27 times the life of stanar ball bushings with the same overall imensions. These high quality units consist of harene steel segmente loa bearing plates with precision groun ball tracks combine with a +/-.5 egree self alignment feature. This ensures a uniform loa istribution over the entire row of balls, preventing point loaing that shortens life. Self Alignment Feature The outer surface of the steel loa bearing plates are esigne with a curve surface that in turn allows the bushing to absorb misalignment cause by inaccuracies between the shaft an ball bushing. 22 Loa / Life Calculation Basic Dynamic Rating (C) The basic Dynamic Loa Rating (C) is the maximum continuous loa that can be applie to a bearing with a 9% probability that a working life of 5 km will be achieve. There are two key factors to the loa calculation that may nee to be applie epening on the application conitions. Harness factor (FH) Shaft harness factor (FH) The harness of the shaft shoul be 6 RC +/- 2, refer to figure 8 for shaft harness factors. Raceway Harness HRC Fig 8. Basic Static Loa Rating (Co) The Basic Static Loa Rating (Co) is the static loa that will permanently cause eformation of the bushing ball track equivalent to.1% of the ball iameter. It is goo practice to limit the maximum static force to a maximum of 8%. Short Stroke Life Reuction Where the stroke istance is less than a Ball Bushing length the calculate life will be reuce by up to 7%. 2

23 Lubrication For best performance, an to achieve a long an trouble free life, ball bushings require lubrication with either oil or grease. Grease Lubrication For grease lubrication the anticorrosive protection oil shoul be remove prior to assembly ensuring that the bearing is ry before applying grease. Grease shoul be applie irectly to the ball circuits prior to fitting, generally a lithium soap grease ISO viscosity grae 2 is recommene for general use. Oil Lubrication For oil lubrication it is not necessary to remove the anticorrosive protection from the bushing.
