2 Where to find strong bed slats that are also constantly flexible over time, resistant to moisture and easily sanitized, back in 1988? Luigi Favaron decided to accept the challenge and started experimenting to create a bed slat in polymer compound. After thorough research and close collaboration with a talented mold maker, DOGHY was born, a polyamide compound slat. Since then DOGHY, while retaining its unique features, has constantly evolved to better satisfy the many new needs of the market. 9 TEST CATAS TESTS carried out on BENDING RESISTANCE Test conditions: Test equipment: Test speed: C Material test machine Instron mod 5500R 100mm/min Method: The test is performed with a dynamometer, positioning the slat on two metallic cylinders mounted on bearings, and therefore able to follow the movements of the slat when stress is applied. The load is applied on the center line of the same, with the convex surface upwards as it would be normally used.
