We now fully test and listen to every deck here in the UK before we ship it out to make sure that you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase. You may think you can buy VPI cheaper in the USA but it will have the wrong motor and no warranty and you will be liable for import costs, duty and vat making it in the end more expensive.

2 Turntables Product details UK Retail incl 20% vat The only entry level high end turntable VPI Traveler 24V that is made in America Featuring an ultra low friction Gimbaled bearing assembly with friction levels almost as low as our uni-pivot arms. This table was inspired by and in memory of Sheila Weisfeld, co-founder of VPI Industries, and an integral part of the 1650 company for 35 years. The Traveler is the focus of VPI s new engineering group providing the customer with quality sound and ease of use at an affordable price. VPI Scout 1.1 The Scout turntable has become the worlds best-reviewed turntable The Scout is the lowest priced turntable in STEREOPHILE S Class B and has attained high performance records worldwide. The deck is now available with the new platter and bearing and is called Scout 1.1 For improved stability and damping, the Scout s chassis is made from 1 1/8 thick MDF bonded to a 12 gauge steel plate. The massive platter is composed of 1 3/8 aluminium and is mounted to an inverted bearing of Teflon and brass on a 60 Rockwell case hardened shaft. The 500 RPM AC synchronous motor chosen for the EU market is contained in a separate steel housing and drives the platter with smooth, quiet operation. The JMW-9-Scout tonearm is the perfect complement to the Scout, offering all the advantages of a uni-pivot tonearm at a bargain price. The arm has a low friction bearing mounted onto a solid stainless steel rod with a knurled ring to set VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) 1975

This revolutionary design greatly reduces internal resonance, yielding a full and rich sound, with a vast soundstage and increased 2350 resolution and detail. The added mass also produces deeper bass response and fantastic compatibility with moving coil cartridges. Classic 1 Classic 2 The VPI Classic Turntable comes standard with the uni-pivot JMW-Classic 1 tonearm Special Edition in rigid mount mode. The Classic Turntable uses new VPI pure copper wire, a solid plinth with black oak or walnut finish (at no additional cost), a solid mounted AC synchronous motor, new cast aluminium platter, silent inverted bearing, and new isolator feet derived from the HR-X..The sound of the Classic Turntable is fast, clean, wide open, with deep powerful bass, and unequalled in speed stability. The Classic Turntable gives any turntable made regardless of price a serious "run for the money."this completely new design has produced the simplest and one of the best sounding VPI tables to date. 4 Turntables Product details UK Retail incl 20% vat Classic 3 VPI Aries 3 3D A large knurled VTA (vertical tracking angle) tower with a smooth precise feel makes it easy to set VTA during play. A secondary mounting with underbase has been placed between the arm rest and the arm lift to greatly improve the arm's rigidity literally making these the only arms that can do VTA adjustments while listening and then be locked as rigid as a solid mounted arm. JMW-Classic 3 damped stainless steel tonearm. New investment machined aluminium high inertia platter with precision inverted bearing. Speed stability on par with a master tape: Due to the rigid mounting of motor, platter & tonearm, there isn't any random motion to cause speed instabilities. Lack of random motion between the motor, platter, and tonearm giving the ultimate in low level resolution. Not only does this rigidity improve speed stability, it also allows the retrieval of low level information with the world's great turntables and pushing against master tapes. Absolutely solid, nonresonating laminated one-piece chassis: This is not a wooden frame; it is a solid laminated 2.5" thick MDF block with 11 gauge steel attached to the top with silicone and long bolts through all the layers. The chassis weighs 30 pounds and is totally non-resonant. RCA jack termination so you can use the interconnect of your choice. Anti-skate controlling device. VPI stainless steel record centre weight. The Aries 3 is the perfect choice for those who want near HR-X performance, in a smaller size. It now uses the 2 Classic platter & inverted bearing the same as that used on the HR-X. The bearing shaft is 60 Rockwell hardness, ground and polished, and the platter rotates on a Teflon/Delrin composite thrust plate for ultra low noise.the solid stainless steel motor assembly is almost 15 pounds and contains a smooth 500-RPM synchronous motor with Delrin motor pulley. This is a very low noise system with the fundamental resonance of the motor at 5 Hertz which is well below the frequency a cartridge can reproduce.the Aries 3 chassis is made from a sandwich of 2 layers of 5/8 polished black acrylic top and bottom with a 5/8 thick aluminium centre section, exactly like the HR-X chassis design which provides stability and damping. This system creates an inert, quiet, and stable platform for the platter and tonearm to sit on. The plinth is supported by four aluminium cones, the bottoms of which are composed of hardened steel balls. The VPI HR-X Features: The Table: The HR-X features a triple laminated chassis (Acrylic-Aluminium-Acrylic). A periphery ring clamp centred by the platter, not the record, providing vacuumlike hold down without the problems inherent in a vacuum system. Aluminium HR-X centre weight. The drive system uses two low-powered 24-pole motors driving a 12-pound flywheel. The material is basically epoxy, which forms a rigid, lightweight, structure with good insulation properties. Epoxy is non-crystalline which impedes the transfer of vibration, so it s the perfect material for tone arms. The shape of the tone arm shaft also adds rigidity to the structure and further prevents the transmission of surface vibrations. The result is a low resonance lightweight tone arm. Our design takes advantage of 21st Century motor technology for accurate speed control utilising a servo motor controller coupled with an active feedback loop to control the motion of the platter.
