2 OVERVIEW s Signature Series pumps are considered the industry-standard rotary gear pumps based on their proven pumping performance, exceptionally long life, ease of repair/serviceability and excellent value. All Signature Series pumps are packing sealed bushing-design pumps which come in a variety of gear materials: Buna-N rubber, progressive helical steel or progressive helical Delrin thermoplastic. The gear material has a significant impact on the pump performance, longevity and recommended application. The primary applications for our rubber gear and progressive helical steel gear pumps include: Upstream oil and gas fluid transport of fresh and produced water, oil, well site fluids and drilling materials for disposal. CONFIGURATIONS AND PRIMARY APPLICATIONS The Signature Series of pumps include four different models: 300, 300 S, 300 ED and All models are supplied in both a Drive-on-Bottom and Drive-on-Top configuration to accommodate virtually any style of truck rig up. We offer a bronze bushing and graphite packing configuration for non-potable water or a Teflon bushing and packing configuration for potable water applications. 4 300 The Industry Standard pump is available in 2 and 3 port sizes with 90 and 180 degree orientations. It is designed as the go-to pump in the transport of water, oil, well site fluids, drilling materials and similar products. It is not recommended in the transport of bulk liquid petroleum products or explosive materials because of the limited sealing characteristics of a packing seal. 300 S This is the same pump as the 300 but with a shorter drive neck for even easier access to replace the packing. This pump is installed whenever there is minimal clearance available for pumps maintenance. 300 ED This Extended Duty pump comes with heavy duty wear plates (in steel gear model), longer bushings and thicker shafts for the ultimate in pump life and overall value. It comes in 3 and 4 port sizes with 90 and 180 degree orientations. It is installed whenever there are heavy wear conditions and the longest lasting pump that is available is required. Because of its enhanced housing capacity and larger gear size, the 4300 ED produces the highest flow volume of any pump in this category This baby is your best choice when you want to save money and you don t need the higher flow volume from a 3 pump. It comes in a 1 ½ port size with 180 degree orientation. COMPETITION AND MAIN SELLING POINTS 300 AND 300 S Usual competitors include the Roper 5600 (Rubber Gears) and Roper 3600 (Steel Gears) Series. Competitors rubber gears have a history of performing poorly as a result of their poor bonding of rubber to the gear s steel core. The result: component separation and peeling and excessive warranty claims. s unique proprietary bonding process results in a high strength and durable bond resulting in longer gear life and minimal downtime and repair costs. The 3300 outperforms the competitor s pump, in terms of maximum flow volumes, by between 14% (steel gears) and 19% (rubber gears). The design of the front plate and packing nut system on the Signature series allows for easier access for maintenance along with the unique ability to tighten the packing nut for improved sealing.

5 300 ED The design and functionality of the Progressive Helical Steel gears are one generation ahead of the competitors standard helical steel gears. The unique capabilities of our five-axis machining centers allows us to modify the twist angle of the helix and the profile of the teeth resulting in less friction, less wear and longer pump life. In addition, these modifications help produce the highest flow volumes in the industry. Usual competitors include Roper 3600 (Steel Gears only). At this time, there is no direct competitive product to s 4300 ED with Rubber Gears. In addition, these modifications produce the highest flow volumes in the industry. PROGRESSIVE HELICAL DELRIN THERMOPLASTIC We utilize the same capabilities of our five-axis machining centers to create the next generation of helical Delrin thermoplastic gears. Just like our progressive helical steel gears, the unique design results in less friction, less wear and longer pump life compared to standard helical Delrin gears. MAJOR COMPONENT OPTIONS BI-DIRECTIONAL PRESSURE RELIEF PLATE A bi-directional pressure relief plate is recommended whenever you want to ensure that high pressure fluid flow will not damage pressure sensitive equipment on either side of the pump. This includes piping, tubing and machinery. Of course, personnel safety is also a key reason to install this equipment. Maximum pressures settings can be configured for both the intake and discharge of pumped product. The pressure relief plate is compact and easy to maintain and is compatible with all sizes of 300, 300 S and 300 ED pumps. HYDRAULIC MOUNTING KIT The hydraulic mounting kit allows you to directly mount a hydraulic motor to your pump. This equipment ensures easy alignment when installing the pumps and also provides a safety guard over the connection. It is easy to install and maintain and it is built to last.
