The Jeyco STINGRAY High Performance anchor exhibits holding powers far in excess of traditional anchors and can offer the operator substantial saving in terms of freight and handing, cost of holding power and associated chain and jewellery. Jeyco represents some of the worlds finest manufacturers of mooring equipment including Puget Sound Ropes of the USA, makers of the amazing Plasma fibre rope that is stronger than steel. Jeyco also has access to global companies producing Fenders, Chain, Navigation Lights and Aids as well as equipment not available off the shelf in Australia. Jeyco carries large stock of studless and stud link chain and fittings,, large diameter high quality fibre ropes such as Akwaflex as well as large range of Nylon and Polyester ropes, high capacity shackles, and other mooring equipment. Jeyco can design and manufacture individual pieces of gear or complete systems to offer a total design and supply service for all your mooring needs. We have developed strategic alliances that allow us the tackle large supply and installation projects such as those recently completed for the WA Department of Transport, Onslow Salt and many others from the single cyclone moorings to total fleet coverage. Jeyco s reference list of satisfied customers is most impressive with many of the World s major players in their various areas having used Jeyco. For instance we supplied the largest ever floating towlines for an Offshore tow and installation to Exxon Mobil for a large project in Angola. We have also completed large moorings in Italy for one of the World s foremost fish farm suppliers, Fusion Marine of the UK. Jeyco is also a specialist supplier to the military, both within Australian and overseas where our solutions have offered better value for money and operational integrity. For instance we are the sole source for a number of products including specific mooring ropes, embarkation equipment and rapid deployment solutions. Jeyco is the nominated Design Authority for some specific solutions for the Australian Military.

DESTRUCTION TEST RESULTS FOR WIRE ROPE & PLASMA 12 STRAND ROPE: Test certificates supplied by Warn Winch, for wire rope that is fitted to a Warn winch as standard equipment: 5/16 (8mm) failed at 10,230lbs (4.4 tonne) 3/8 (9mm) failed at 15,210lbs (6.9 tonne) Test certificates supplied by Puget Sound Rope for the Plasma 12 Strand Rope: These destruction tests were performed in accordance with the American Bureau of Shipping and the Cordage Istitue. 5/16 (8mm) broke at 14,900lbs (6.76 tonne) MBS 3/8 (9mm) broke at 22,400lbs (10.17) tonne) MBS PLASMA 12 STRAND THE WORLD STRONGEST ROPE PLEASE NOTE: ABS conduct the most stringent of all destruction tests. Unlike P.S.R. most rope manufacturers will only show an un-spliced average Minimum Breaking Strain. This is determined by the average failure reading over many break tests, not the worst, and a further 10% needs to be deducted for loss of strength due to the splice. BE AWARE OF INFERIOR PRODUCTS.

Transportation cost is greatly reduced, due to a reduction in size and weight The rope floats on water and does not absorb water Generally 40% stronger than the same diameter wire rope.

6 PLASMA 12 STRAND Plasma 12 strand is the highest strength synthetic rope available. Plasma 12 strand is manufactured from Honeywell Spectra Fiber that has been enhanced by Puget Sound Rope s patented recrystallization process. This process is especially effective in medium to large diameter ropes where strengths are over 50% higher and creep is significantly less than that of standard Spectra 12 strand. Plasma 12 strand comes standard with a polyurethane finish and is easily spliced using a simple lockstitch type splice, or Tuck splice. Its soft, torque free braided construction provides easy handling.
