The undercarriage is suitable for driving on the track by its hydraulic rail boogies. However, it is also possible to use this machine next to the track or in other areas. Characteristic is its compactness. The machine sits completely within the track profile, so that at any time both work and train traffic on the adjacent track can be continued. The machine is based on a 22 tons short radius tracked excavator and equipped with a 2.5 ton block weight Junttan type hydraulic hammer that has a maximum drop height of 800 mm and a total weight of 5 tons. Piles up to 7.5 meters can be used. The machine can also be made suitable for drilling. The PV15 is standard available the original colour of the used basis machine. Other colours are optional. The machine is built according to the guidelines of the NVAF and BS EN 996. Van den Heuvel specializes in custom made projects.
