Output torque is 40,000 lbs. ft. based on 5000 psi operating pressure. Hydraulic rotary has two hydraulic motor driven planetaries driving a bull gear final drive. Output torque is 60,000 lbs. ft. based on 5000 psi operating pressure. Hydraulic rotary has four hydraulic motor driven planetaries driving a bull gear final drive. Output torque is 180,000 lbs. ft. based on 5000 psi operating pressure. Mast Kelly EDT-5 Kelly Winch EDT-7 Kelly Winch EDT-18 Kelly Winch Hydraulics Controls EDT-5 Mount EDT-7 Mount EDT-18 Mount *Excavator Modifications The mast structure is a box frame design and incorporates the outer control cylinder and associated rigging. Kelly is mounted outside the mast. Crowd forces are generated by activating the control cylinder and are applied to the outer bar via an outer element swivel. Outer element swivel utilizes a sealed slew type ball bearing for long life and trouble-free operation. Rotary and mast assemblies are mounted on a trunnion assembly at the boom tip of the excavator and allow for vertical and side-to-side positioning of the mast for leveling. Telescoping multi-element. The excavator auxiliary circuit is used to control the rotary functions. The excavator bucket circuit is used to control all other functions utilizing pilot control valves to shift function valves on the ExcaDrill. Controls are joystick pilot operated control valves located in the cab. Operator has excellent visibility and control of all drilling functions. 30 ton excavator. Mounting the EDT-5 to smaller than the 30 ton excavator specified is possible with some basic excavator modifications.* 40 ton excavator. Mounting the EDT-7 to smaller than the 40 ton excavator specified is possible with some basic excavator modifications.* 50 ton excavator. Mounting the EDT-7 to smaller than the 50 ton excavator specified is possible with some basic excavator modifications.* Mounting additional counterweight and/or boom shortening to the base excavator to counteract the attachment weight makes it possible to mount an EDT on a smaller than specified excavator.
