Founded in 1997 by Mr. Lanny McILvain, the company is located in Winnie, Texas (off Interstate 10 between Houston and Port Arthur). MEI possesses one of the largest corporately-owned fleet of "Rolligon" off-road vehicles in the world. MEI also owns tracked vehicles, air-boats, and off-road support vehicles. MEI s rental and support equipment is incredibly expensive to purchase and very long delivery times are common. MEI s private, corporate and governmental customers generally have needs for this equipment for sporadic hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly periods of use. Hence, it is exceedingly rare for any of MEI s customers to justify the acquisition of such items. MEI may also be asked to provide experienced equipment operators, superintendents, foreman, safety, and other necessary field service personnel.
