2 QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS Beta has manufactured space-qualified standard and custom products for over 15 years. This experience includes being listed as sole source MIL-STD-1553 magnetics supplier for the International Space Station SSQ specification, as well as providing critical hardware for numerous satellite programs including: ADVANCED EHF ALPHASAT AQUARIUS ARIANE ARSAT-1 EUROSTAR 3000 GALILEO GEOSAT GOES-R GPS III ISS JWST MSL ORION PHOENIX SENTINEL NASA Level B Soldering Instructor on Staff. Certified solder operators and quality assurance inspectors per NASA Standard and J-STD-001. Inspectors and operators comply with vision testing per NASA Standard and J-STD-001. FACILITIES All space-flight products are produced in a separate manufacturing room that is specially designed for the rigorous MIL-STD-981 requirements. This room is humidity controlled to comply with the soldering and materials storage requirements of MIL-STD-981. Beta also has life test, thermal shock, Fein Focus inspection, and automated test equipment to ensure quality. Beta is able to provide 100% variables data and material traceability. Standard and custom transformers, inductors, and custom magnetic components designed, built and tested to the following standards: SSQ MIL-STD-981 MIL-STD-1553 MIL-STD-202 MIL-PRF TOR-2006(1590)-4430 MIL-PRF-27 NASA-STD Seam Welded Hermetic Casings with Glass Ferrules, meeting MIL-STD-202, Method 112 for Fine Leak Testing.

3 DATA BUS TRANSFORMERS FOR SPACE APPLICATIONS HLP-6000 Series The HLP-6000 Series are hermetically sealed, low-profile inch max height transformers. They are available in 3.3, 5, 12, & 15 volt ratios. The transformers are for use with MIL-STD-1553A/B, MacAir A-5690, A-5232, A-3818, and A Testing to MIL-PRF requirements is available. The series is also designed to meet ESD test, MIL-STD-883, Method Category B. See data sheet for complete details.
