1 5/27/12 Technical Bulletin- New Product Introduction Lokring Technology announces the release of new 333 fittings for use in low temperature carbon steel (LTCS) and sour service (H 2 S) fluid piping systems.

2 What is the Product? The new products are: o Straight Couplings, Flanged s, 90 degree Elbows and Caps using the Lokring patented elastic strain preload (ESP ) design technology. o Developed and qualified per ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8. o Used to connect carbon steel pipe per ASTM A333 Grade 6 and ASTM-A106, ASTM-A53, ASTM A587, API 5L Grades B. on NPS sizes ½, ¾, 1, 1 ½, 2, 3 and 4 NPS. on Schedules 40, 80 and 160 for fitting sizes ½, ¾, 1, 1 ½ and 2 NPS. 40 and 80 for fitting sizes 3 and 4 NPS. o Designed for piping systems having corrosion allowance of 1 / 8 in (3.2mm). o Made of AISI /SAE 4130 (UNS G 41300) Low Alloy NACE Grade or API 5CT Grade L80 Type 1/ API 5L X80 carbon steel material. o Ratings Pressure- Refer to Lokring Specification document FS-333. Temperature- for use in systems held to -50F (-46C) to +400F (+204C). o Flanged fittings are designed and constructed per MSS SP-44 for Raised Face type flanges in 150#, 300# and 600# Classes and for RTJ type flanges in 1500# Class. Flange end complies with ASME B16.5 dimensions. Flanged fittings are designed as a one piece body construction i.e. without a weld. Applications For use in sour and non-sour service applications. tested successfully to NACE TM0-177 Method A. Note: For sour service systems we request that an Applications Data Request Form submitted to Lokring. Refer to LOKRING TM Applications Guide - Guidelines for specifying Lokring s in Refinery, Petrochemical, and Chemical Plant Piping.

This take out dimension is identical to the ASME B16.5 welding neck flange for the corresponding NPS size and class. Are designed and constructed per MSS SP-44 for Raised Face type flanges in 150#, 300# and 600# Classes and for RTJ type flanges in 1500# Class. Have flange end that complies with ASME B16.5 dimensions. Are designed as a one piece, weld-less body construction. When placing an order, for example: a Raised Faced, Class 300# flange to be used on 1 NPS pipe, Please order a: LTCS-333-FLNG300-P16. Flanges listed above are constructed to Schedule 80 diameters. Flanges constructed in Schedule 160 diameters are available upon request. Flanged face configurations different than listed above are available upon request.

7 Material, Construction are machined from AISI /SAE 4130 (UNS G 41300) Low Alloy NACE Grade or API 5CT Grade L80 Type 1/ API 5L X80 Carbon Steel grade material. s are coated with a Light Blue Zinc chromate corrosion inhibitor per specification ASTM B633 with a coating thickness per SC2 (8um ( ) minimum thickness). Performance Refer to FS-333 for pressure and temperature ratings. See Appendix A.
