A good example of a solution that not only benefits the user, but also the environment is our low-emission engines with the X-Torq. It is a technology developed for two-stroke engines and provides a more powerful engine, 20 % lower fuel consumption and a drop in emissions by up to 75 %, compared with conventional two-stroke technology. Good for the environment and good for the user. DEX. Another solution is DEX, our newly developed dust handling system, which effectively minimizes the amount of dust particles around the user. In 2010 we re launching a completely new line of power cutters: the K 760, K 970 and K These machines have more know-how and experience built into their design than any other cutters on the market. Features include the new Active Air Filtration, one of the market s most efficient centrifugal air cleaning systems, SmartCarb, the built-in automatic filter compensation, Poly-V belt and a highly-efficient vibration dampening system. The K 760 and K 970 also feature engines with X-Torq, which produces higher power levels but at the same time greatly reduced emissions, DuraStarter, a dust-sealed starter delivering enhanced reliability and product life, and unusually easy starts, thanks to Air Purge and a decompression valve. The K 970 also has a soft grip on the rear handle, providing better holding power for the hand and when using your leg for support. The X-Torq engine technology reduces emissions by 75 % and fuel consumption by 20 %, compared to a conventional two-stroke engine. DuraStarter is a patented design with a dust-sealed starter and a durable starter cord, which reduce the risk of downtime and increase reliability and product life. Efficient vibration dampening system minimises vibrations (less than 5 m /s²), enabling long periods of operation without operator fatigue. KV 760 and KV 970 / Compact cutting trolleys, developed specifically for the K 760, K 970 and K The quick mounts make it easy to install the cutter on the trolleys and efficient control of cutting depth facilitates adjustment. The wheels are laterally adjustable, so you can cut close to walls and curbs. The trolleys are easy to fold up and transport, and are supplied complete with 15-litres water tank. The WCV 180 features the unique Vario system, which allows you to adjust the groove width without removing the blades. It sits on a strong, durable baseplate cast in a single piece, with integrated lifting hooks. It s powerful despite its light weight, and compared to the competition it has more and better solutions for easy operation and service. Operation is particularly easy and convenient, thanks to the userfriendly, Bluetooth-operated remote control. DXR 250. The DXR 250 has the same contemporary, functional design and intelligent features as the DXR 310. Its fixed arm makes it light, stable and compact ideal for operation in cramped spaces like basements. Comes standard with universal dozer blades, which means a wide range of applications.
