5 Parking Lot and Tailgating Policies Reserved parking and tailgating on football game days is a wonderful aspect of game day at TCU. The University s tailgating policy is designed to ensure: The comfort and enjoyment of game day patrons, The safety, security, and well-being of all people associated with game day activities, and The safeguarding and preservation of all public property under the management of the University. In an effort to be accommodating to our donors AND maintain an organized game day parking environment designed to serve all and enhance the donor experience and adhere to TCU rules and policies, The TCU Frog Club has adopted the following policies regarding vehicle parking, RVs, trailers, additional vehicles and tailgating equipment. RESERVED DONOR PARKING ALL DONOR PARKERS ARE AGREEING TO ADHERE TO ALL STATED POLICIES AND RULES OF THE 2014 DONOR FOOTBALL PARKING POLICY MANUAL WHEN PARKING PASS IS ISSUED. ALL RESERVED DONOR PARKING LOTS ADJACENT TO AMON CARTER STADIUM ARE AVAILABLE ON A SEASON-BASIS ONLY! General Donor Parking is available on a season basis in Lots 8, 13, 14, EC2 and EC3. SPACE IS LIMITED. Policies and Rules The TCU Frog Club policy on donor parking is One Pass = One Space, One Vehicle per space. Each pass entitles the bearer to the space within the confines of the marked parking space only. No tailgating areas are included or promised with any specific parking space. Per University policy, no tailgating equipment or gathering is permitted in the driveways within parking lots, road ways, pedestrian walkways or fire lanes. No tents, shelters, grills or cookers are allowed in the fire lanes or roadway. Please tailgate within the confines of your parking space and keep tailgating items adjacent to the front or rear of your vehicle. No tailgating equipment is to be placed in any University landscaped area. At no time should any parking space be confused or misconstrued as a camping space. Trailers, tow-behind units, 5 th -wheel trailers or any type of unit hitched to a vehicle IS CONSIDERED AN ADDITIONAL VEHICLE and requires a Frog Club donor parking pass for that vehicle unless parking in the Lot 13 RV lot. One pass for their vehicle AND one pass for their trailer at the corresponding gift level for that lot if space available. For example, a Jim Swink Lot donor who wants to bring a trailer into the Jim Swink Lot will need to purchase two (2) Jim Swink Lot passes at $2000 each + applicable fees (total gift required in this case is $4000). RVs or vehicles with attached trailers are the only type of vehicle allowed in the Lot 13 RV Lot. Due to space constraints, any additional vehicle used for transport requires an additional parking pass outside of the Lot 13 RV lot. 5
6 An additional parking pass in other donor lots can be purchased for the accompanying vehicle. DONOR PARKING AND TAILGATING REGULATIONS The person(s) purchasing the parking pass are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Make sure you and your guests are respectful and courteous to all game day employees and other fans. TCU reserves the right to suspend or revoke your parking privileges for unruly fans, inappropriate behavior, etc. One pass, one parking space slot. Please tailgate within the confines of your parking space and keep tailgating items adjacent to front or rear of your vehicle. Tailgating or gathering is not permitted in fire lanes or in the road way, driveways or pedestrian walkways. Please keep tailgating equipment out of University landscaping. No tailgating areas are included or promised with any specific parking space. A donor parking pass must be visible at all times while using the parking space. Parking spaces are to be used for automobiles or tailgating equipment. If parking space is used for tailgating equipment (cooker, grill, etc.) a parking pass for that space must be displayed within the space. Golf carts are only allowed if street legal with state license permit and must display parking pass for space. Use of motorized recreational vehicles, including four-wheelers, golf carts, mules, gators, scooters, motorized skateboards, etc. are prohibited unless pre-approved by TCU Athletics. Chaining and/or roping off of parking or tailgating spaces to reserve your space is prohibited. Donor parking spaces are intended for the private use of the donor and guests. No commercial use of the parking spots is allowed. No commercial or promotional giveaways may be executed in donor lots or by those holding donor parking passes. Banners and signage recognizing businesses may not be displayed unless approved through the TCU Athletic Marketing office or TCU s IMG office. All companies interested in game day marketing please contact the TCU Athletic Marketing Department at (817) Trailers and vehicles are prohibited from parking on the grass or any landscaped areas. Donor parking lots open 5 hours before kickoff and have up to three hours after home games starting at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., later games require that the lots must be cleared 90 minutes after conclusion of game. No drop-offs of items or persons will be permitted in reserved parking lots. Donor parkers are limited to preparing food for their family and guests. Private catering companies are not allowed in donor parking lots unless arrangements have been made and approved through TCU Conference Services, the TCU Athletics Office and the TCU Frog Club. 6
7 No kegs will be allowed in parking lots. Personal containers only. Please, no glass containers. The selling of alcoholic beverages in parking lots is strictly prohibited. Selling of alcoholic beverages may result in a relocation of parking privileges being revoked and TABC fines. The drinking age in Texas is 21. Please observe all local and state laws. NOTE: Violations will be cited by TCU PD or FWPD. TABC rules govern all alcohol usage. The use of any tobacco product is strictly prohibited on all University property. Music must be confined to your tailgate area and speakers must be directed into your tailgate party. Please be respectful of other parkers and their guests by refraining from the playing of music with profanity. Grills, smokers or other open flame and heat producing devices should be located away from combustible structures and shall not obstruct the ingress or egress from any building. Fire extinguishers (ABC) or a bucket of water must accompany any cooker or grill. Dump stations are available in most lots for coals and or ashes. The disposal of grease, hot coals or hazardous materials onto the grounds or into storm drains is prohibited. The hooking into, connecting to, or similar use of University utilities such as electrical or water sources, is expressly prohibited. Generators may be used but must not damage University property. Please place all trash into trash receptacles and help keep our stadium and game day environment clean. All donor reserved handicap parking requires proof of official ADA parking permit and must be visible at all times during game day or vehicle may be towed. It is the responsibility of each parker to secure tailgate items prior to entering the stadium. Tailgaters should lock food, beverages and valuables out of sight in vehicles; extinguish all fires or flames; unplug electrical outlets; secure barbecue pits, chairs, and tents. The University is not responsible or liable for accidents, damage, loss or theft of materials, items, or personal property left in tailgating area. Any person damaging University property will be responsible for cost of repair. If you have any questions, please contact a uniformed FWPD or TCU PD officer. You may also access the game day text number (key word Frogs) to report a problem. No chairs, stadium cushions, food, drink, large bags, umbrellas, external noise makers or weapons are allowed inside the stadium gates. Be courteous, have fun and GO FROGS!!
