1 Supplementary Technical Information Reeling and trailing material characteristics: A. Conductor and insulation semi-conductive screen Conductor screen: For voltage rate above and including 3.3/3.3 kv, cross-linked semi-conductive elastomeric material extruded directly over the power core conductor through a triple extrusion process. Textile-reinforced semi-conductive tape or water barrier (water-proof) tape can be applied on special request or particular purposes. Insulation screen: The material used for insulation screen in our reeling and trailing is cross-linked semi-conductive elastomeric which directly applied over insulation of each power core. Metallic composite screen Composite screen applied on our reeling and trailing consists of tinned annealed copper interwoven with polyester yarn and each strand consists of seven copper wires with nominal diameter between 0.25 and 0,5mm to form a braid. The coverage is excess 85%. E. Pliable steel strand armour To enhance the impact tolerant and cut resistant on mechanical strength of the, pliable armour has been applied. Our pliable amour comprises galvanized low carbon (mild) steel strands, each strand consist of seven wires helically over the inner sheath to provide close cover. The wires are complying with the requirements of AS/NZS F.
