4 ABOUT PLANT Cheboksary Aggregate Plant is located in Cheboksary, the capital of Chuvash Republic which is a part of the Russian Federation. FOR MANY YEARS CHEBOKSARY AGGREGATE PLANT IS THE CONSTANT LEADER IN THE PRODUCTION OF UNDERCARRIAGE PARTS FOR CRAWLER MACHINES AND IT ALWAYS IMPROVES QUALITY OF PRODUCTS. The Plant produces track group assemblies for all types of industrial tractors of Russian and foreign production. The most important direction is the development and manufacture of import-substituting spare parts for undercarriage systems to foreign dozers and excavators. The working area of the Plant is 80 ha with the number of employees of more than 3100 people. 7 MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION 1 High accuracy and the quality processing of roller axes are reached on the machining center «Mazak». Manufacturing of work pieces of the most mass roller for dozers KOMATSU 375,CATERPILLAR D9R, D6 and T-170 (to CHTZ equipment) is carried out by innovative technology of a hot knurling of rollers with the further hardening operation and residual heat. It allows to get the goods with minimal production expenses. With the same purpose the holes in rollers for tractors T-170 (to CHTZ equipment) and KOMATSU 375,CATERPILLAR D9R, D6 is processed on the productive broaching machine. On the turning machining center of tandem layout «Doosan» we carry out the final polishing of track rollers and idlers. The hardening operation of axes surface of roller is made on the high-frequency current machine of in-house design. The equipment of an assembly line of rollers and idlers includes testing stand in order to check the tightness and working capacity. 7

Manufacturing of these products is located in mechanical assembly production 2. Also there are bushings and pins for tractors of light and medium-weight classes as well as shoe bolts for all assortments of track group assemblies by «ChAZ» JSC production. Manufacturing of pins and bushings begins with blanking operation, i.e. cutting on a high-efficiently bandsaw machine with further mechanical and heat treatment on special lines. 8

9 MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION 3 In the assembling department of the mechanical assembly production 3 there is an assembly of track groups and track links with different types of joint and link pitch from 125 mm to 280 mm. While assembling we control the pressing force of track link details, tightness of sealed and greased joints and the moment of shoe fixing. Launching of modern equipment «Mazak» and «Doosan» for processing of track links and half links to industrial dozers allowed to raise pressing accuracy and quality of track links. Movement to this equipment let the plant minimize expenses while new assortment engineering in comparison with the technology used before. Links and half links of track group for tractors of light and medium class are processed on the «Mitsubishi» machining centers. 9
