Just look at how we have evolved We were founded and built the first Apache sprayer. That same Apache 560 is still in operation to this day. We moved into our current manufacturing facility in Mooresville, Ind. and received a patent on our selfleveling hydraulic suspension the first in the industry. While other manufacturers were using chain drive dropboxes, we were the first to use a gear dropbox in a sprayer with 6-speed power shift transmission. We launched the 10 Series, with a total redesign of the Apache. We received a patent on our joystick operation and console. Precision ag began to take off as hydraulic auto steering and boom height leveling became factoryinstalled options

It is fairly simple, and I like the gear-driven electronics. I really like the Cummins engine. I don t have anything to complain about. We also partnered with Lucas Oil for all Apache lubricants a partnership that continues to live strong today. 15 Power-to-the-Ground Power-to-the-Ground Technology = Maximum Efficiency, Power, and Simplicity Maximum Efficiency Operators demand horsepower, but application demands a light weight machine. Since day one, our engineering philosophy has presented Apache owners with the best of both worlds. 17 Power-to-the-Ground Just Looking at an Engine s Horsepower Isn t Enough Most Hydrostatic Sprayers Deliver About 70% of the Engine s Horsepower to the Ground With a Hydrostat, PTG is Complex and Inefficient 1. When considering a sprayer purchase, the buyer may be unnecessarily concerned about 4-wheel drive versus 2-wheel drive. 29 Cost-Saving Features Can I Afford a Self-Propelled Sprayer? Can I Afford a Self-Propelled Sprayer? The answer, believe it or not, is likely yes. As with all capital investments on the farm, you need to consider the impact the decision will have on your total operation. Many of the costs for a pull-type are hidden, which creates the illusion that it is more cost efficient to operate. The hidden costs are fuel consumption, compaction, crop damage and lost productivity. Conversely, the costs for a self-propelled are right out in the open so they are often perceived as being greater. Call us today to complete a personalized cost of ownership. In the past, we ran 3 pull sprayers, and one guy running the nurse truck. At times, there were 4 guys tied up in our spraying operations. We also relied quite heavily upon aerial application.
