It provides a constant, highly accurate indication of system performance, whereas electric gauges rely on sensors and translation hardware that may fall out of calibration, resulting in inaccurate readings. A reading other than expected indicates application problems resulting from constrictions to, or leakage of, plumbing, filters and nozzles all conditions that could cause uneven application of product to the field.
