This bid is for the furnishing and delivering of gravity belt thickener replacement parts as manufactured by BDP Industries, for the San Francisco Water Power Sewer - Wastewater Enterprise. B. All replacement parts shall be delivered complete and ready for installation. Any additions, deletions or variations from the following specifications will not be accepted. C. All bid prices must be submitted on the City and County of San Francisco Office of Contract Administration bid document form. All required bid forms must be completed and submitted with the bid package. Any incomplete documents submitted in the bid package may result in the rejection of the bid. II. Manufacturing, Material, and Design Practices A. It is intended that the manufacturer, in the selection of components, shall use material and design practices that are the best available in the industry for the type of operating conditions to which the parts will be subjected. All parts, equipment and accessories shall conform in strength, quality of material and workmanship to recognized industry standards. The components and parts shall be new and current from the equipment manufacturer. The use of used or obsolete components and parts will not be acceptable. B. In the event of discrepancies between part numbers of the items specified herein and current part numbers, Bidder declares, by submitting a bid, that Bidder is providing the correct and most current part numbers corresponding to the technical specification or descriptions ofthe items specified. 4 V. Submittals Successful Bidder shall submit the following documents with delivery of parts. 1. Manufacturer's specification sheets, catalog information and original illustrative literature. 2. Parts description complete with schematics. 3. Installation, operation, and maintenance instructions. VI. Warranty A. A written manufacturer's warranty shall be included with bid and will apply to all parts covered by the contract. Warranty period shall be a minimum of twelve (12) months from receipt of delivery. B. During the warranty period, if any parts or components fail or are defective, the successful bidder shall repair or replace defective or unsatisfactory manufacturer's parts. Defective parts are to be replaced free of charge at no additional cost to the City. C. Bidder shall provide a copy of manufacturer's written guarantee, (on manufacturer's letterhead addressed to the City), that the manufacturer's warranty and service will be passed on to the City. Failure to provide this document within three (3) working days from date of written notification may result in the rejection of bidder's bid. VII. Delivery Requirements Successful Bidder must comply with the following delivery requirements: A. All parts shall be shipped in timber shipping crates / containers, designed for long-term storage. B. Parts shall be delivered to: Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant 1700 Jerrold Avenue San Francisco, CA Attention: Christina Ting C. 5 ITSF /CD D. Successful Bidder shall insure against all physical damages during transit. E. Two (2) weeks prior to delivery, Successful Bidder shall schedule a delivery date with SEP Warehouse: (415) F. Anv deliveries made without prior scheduling will be reiected and rescheduled for another delivery date at Successful Bidder's expense. G. City personnel shall be responsible for unloading units. H. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. L All deliveries must include a packing slip that includes the following information: 1. Complete description including Successful Bidder name, phone number, and 5 digit City vendor number. 2. Quantity ordered. 3. Purchase Order number. IIX. Inspection Upon Delivery A. The City reserves the right to inspect parts upon delivery.
