2 Manufacturing company Balcity LLC celebrated its 10th anniversary in June 6. Throughout Balcity s history more than LPG tanks of various capacities and types were produced. Balcity advances rapidly and continues to expand its product range. Balcity is established as major producer of LPG tanks for vehicles on CIS markets. The company manufactures classic cylindrical tanks, toroidal tanks and twin tanks of block design, with capacity varying from 30 to litres. Balcity is the exclusive supplier of LPG tanks for commercial motor vehicles Gazel of the Gorkiy automobile plant. All the items produced are in conformity with standards valid in the Customs union. Car tanks have ECE UN homologations. The Balcity s production plant is certified according to the international standard of series ISO , which suggests Balcity as reliable and high-quality supplier. Balcity also produces mini-tanks for LPG storage varying from 480 to 8 l. Mini-tanks for gas-storage are perfectly tailored for heating houses situated far from arterial gas nets, as well as in case when use of huge tanks for gas storage is impossible or too expensive. This product has proved to be an affordable and efficient solution for stand alone gasification. Balcity launches massive production of domestic gas bottles. Initially the company started production of tanks with capacity from 80 to 120 l. Today everything is ready for start of production of domestic gas bottles of capacities 27 and l. 2

3 COMPANY PROFILE Taking into consideration the peculiarities of produced items, the main objective of the company`s activities is ensuring the due quality of its products. All tanks in all production phases undergo numerous tests and are subject to % control (X-ray, hydraulic and pneumatic). Balcity `s top priorities are: introduction of new technologies to the production chain and continuous technical upgrade of production facilities. Presently the company uses modern hydraulic presses for blanking; welding in shielding gas atmosphere and plasma arc cutting machines with digital control; robotized welding of toroidal tanks and flanges. Powder coating is effected on the automatic line with prior treatment of tank surface with special chemical agents for the better adhesion. Introduction of new equipment has contributed greatly to the enhanced quality of production and widened the scope of production capabilities of the company. Up to date, Balcity is considered to be one of the most progressive companies in its field. Considering the fact that production of LPG tanks is connected with certain responsibility, Balcity `s executive staff and engineers enhance their skills and knowledge on regular basis studying and visiting production plants of its European partner-companies. A lot is being done for cost-cutting, striking the optimum price-quality balance and establishing longlasting relationships with customers. All Balcity products have certificates of the Customs Treaty.
