As a result, the share of manufacturing output in GDP is projected to rise from 12.% in 211 to 13.1% by 216 and rise from 13.1% in 216 to 13.2% by 221. Within this, the largest sectors are utilities ($192.3 billion), food ($163.1 billion) and other extraction activities ($12.1 billion). By 216 industrial production will total $2,.3 billion (2 prices), rising to $2,316.8 billion by 221. The largest sectors in 221 will be electronic components & boards ($242.9 billion), utilities ($22. billion) and food ($189.6 billion). The share of consumption goods in total manufacturing output was 3.2% in 211: by 221 this is predicted to decline to 2.%. The share of investment goods is expected to increase to 38.7% from 33.3% over the same period, while the share of intermediate goods is forecast to fall from 36.% to 36.3%.
