4 A design and discreet channel for walk-in showers: VENISIO SLIM This year, Wirquin is presenting exclusively its product range extension for walk-in showers with the Venisio Slim channel. A channel with key performances for installers and users characterised, in particular by the reduced space which limits depth requirements. It is also height adjustable: legs for adjusting the height and shims for the stainless steel surround according to the height of the tiling: as well as a powerful flow which enables the rapid evacuation of water. Thanks to Wirquin s SLIM technology (compact and anti-odour), the new Venisio Slim range offers many key advantages for renovation projects: - Reduced under-floor dimensions, only 50 millimetres, requiring a minimum depth and favouring installation during a renovation project - A stronger flow than the standard NF EN 1253: 31.8 L/min (under 20 millimetres of water) - An anti-odour guarantee thanks to a silicone membrane which replaces the water trap The channel is available in 3 lengths: 300, 500 and 700 mm and offers a top-of-therange finish with a stainless steel frame and a reversible dual finish grate, in brushed stainless steel or ready to tile. The end consumer benefits from a product which is both very discreet and easy to maintain: the Slim silicone membrane comprises a hair filter which can be removed quickly for easy cleaning. Designed for installers, the product is supplied with self-adhesive Butyl tape. The hold between the channel and the mortar is instant, thus preventing the installer from having to wait during the bonding phase. The design, finish, performance and technical advances make this channel a new generation product which can be very easily adapted to all configurations. Designed for professionals and with a compact format, it makes it twice as fast to assemble many pre-assembled elements and in particular the sleeves and connecting sleeves, which do not require cutting. Its installation method is ingenious and intuitive. Also, the pre-positioned feet with integrated brakes add to the frame s practicality and make it possible for just one person to adjust the height. The product can be assembled without being moved and access to the cistern is easy. Automatic adjustment of the control panel to the thickness of the support with no need for fine-tuning or tools.
