2 1. PRESENTATION ABOUT US POWIND - Power, Transport & Industry S.r.l. based in Genoa, is born from the synergy of skills in the industrial and energy field. The Company employs experienced staff with Engineers and Managers in various disciplines gained mainly carrying out large works. POWIND applies the method of Project Planning Management to achieve the goals of the contract such as cost, time and quality; furthermore offers services of high operative and professional level, from planning and scheduling the tasks of the project, to on-site supervision and technical assistance for the construction, commissioning, start up and maintenance on civil and industrial plants. The organization is able to meet the needs of the Customer, offering groups of Tasks Force in Italy and abroad. MISSION For POWIND bring positive results and add value to the Customers with its services, with a view to continuous improvement, providing answers and practical solutions to technical, management and operational problems It is the main purpose. 1

SKILLS PROJECT MANAGEMENT POWIND offers services, using the technique of project management making available expertise and multidisciplinary practices which, if properly integrated, enable effective management of the job respecting time, cost and quality also paying attention to the use of human resources, risk management and care of communications. SITE MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE POWIND is able to organise teams of task force specifically dedicated in managing construction, commissioning and start up activities on the Customer s behalf. PROPOSAL ASSISTANCE POWIND uses its own skilled staff for drawing up both technical and commercial proposals, starting from basic plans already in place or, at a later stage, based on the Owner s specifications. Thanks to the competence acquired, our Company defines the technological options available in relation to changes to developments and revamping existing plants, as well as for putting together new (improved) production systems. PLANNING POWIND carries out planning & reporting to its Customers, assisting Project Managers by its Planner in order to define WBS, OBS, task planning and scheduling, from start to the end of Project in fulltime or part-time assistance using main software applications for planning contract activities. ENGINEERING Starting from Customer s specifications, POWIND offers engineering assistance defining the architecture of electrical and mechanical systems, sizing, selecting applicable standards, calculating and producing basic documentation (diagrams, P&ID, layouts and system, components and purchase specifications). POWIND also provide the following services: Follow up of designs Reverse engineering and spare parts analysis Surveys of technological systems for changes / improvements or enhancement equipment Operating and maintenance manuals 2

4 PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE POWIND is able to carry out estimating, drawing up and checking Contract specifications, identifying suitable suppliers for the various types of procurement involved and to co-operate in evaluating quotations and to estimate the correct price target. SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES POWIND s Supply Chain Service support the Customer for all those activities that downstream from the award of an order of supply of goods. The Service is developed through a series of activities that interact with each other and between those of the Customer: Expediting Supplier Quality Control Supplier Performance Assessment Material Management The goal of the Expediting Services is to verify the correspondence between the preset supply plan and the actual, in order to check the progress of all purchase orders, and provide solutions for complying with contractual deadlines. Supplier Quality Control involves a series or activities (inspections) in order to establish conformity of the supply with contractual requirements, and, where necessary, this also includes careful checks of the certification dossier. Supplier Performance Assessment is an activity that is carried out in order to provide to the Customer with an assessment of the supplier s performance, which gives an indication of their capacity for future commitments to comply (where applicable) with the requirements of the QMS (Quality Management System), as far as the approval/evaluation of suppliers is concerned. Material Management is a combination of activities involved in managing logistics of materials, in order to get them to site at the correct time and storage in the appropriate ways. For all of these tasks, our service includes the issue of reports in order to suit the Customer s needs. 3
