1 FS Track-2 Single axis Azimuth tracker Fast and easy installation Adjustable bearings allow for high ramming tolerances The solar tracker FS Track-2 is a PV system which follows the sun by tracking east to west throughout the day. The horizontal North-South axis allows for maximum land use with a motion range of up to +/- 55 degrees. The integrated high wind mode protects the system by turning the modules to a stowage position during storms. Backtracking allows for a high ground coverage ratio. Generally, 16 rows are coupled together and are moved by one actuator. This allows for simultaneous movement of up to 1,200 m2. The highly reliable bearing concept used has been utilized in mechanical engineering for agricultural machines for many years and has shown great longevity. The bearing itself is made of stainless steel. Three operation modes (operating, protection, intermediate) are automatically chosen depending on the wind speed. In the intermediate position, the maximum tilt angle is set depending on the wind speed. Splices of the axis can be covered by modules. Therefore, there is no need to interrupt the module field on the rack. Controls can be adjusted for wind speed, stowage position, error reporting and monitoring. 1 / 6

The substructure consists of steel foundations which are generally driven using a hydraulic hammer rig. The embedment depth of the steel foundations is determined site-specific based on a geotechnical analysis in order to ensure the structural integrity of the overall system. In case pile driving is not possible (i.e. bedrock or corrosive soils), the steel ram foundations can be installed using concrete drilled shafts. 2 / 6
