Real-time energy usage monitoring Remote disconnect/reconnect Real-time power outage and Restoration Alarms Anti-tampering detection and Alarms Remote Firmware Upgrade Power Quality Monitoring and Alarms Smart meter prototype to be tested in accordance with IEC. 35 Test Condition Condition 1 Test without load : PLC signal was sent from the transmitter module through the power lines (up to 1,510 meters) to the receiver module without added noise or load. Condition 2 Test with load : PLC signal was sent from the transmitter module through the power lines (up to 1,510 meters) to the receiver module with added load and noise from computer, motor and UPS (Uninterruptable power supply). 35
